How many dock guards are there? What percentage would you say are corrupt?

The Qilin thinks for a moment

The majority I believe. If I had a chance to personally go into the port I could very easily distinguish the good men from the evil, and punish them myself. But I can easily tell quite a few nasty evil beings are near my lair right now. Waiting for me to leave so they may snatch those I am protecting. I have been unable to leave this lair for quite some time now. This, greatly infuriates me.

I can give you a blessing if you wish to grant you the gift of seeing them for yourself. It won't last very long, maybe a day, but it should give you time to find the evil men and handle them. Other then that there is nothing more that I can do.

Charles thinks long and hard about whether or not it would be immoral for him to recieve this blessing, he decides that it is not.

You said james when I think you meant Charles, unless james is there too.

The qilin nods walks up, taps him on his forehead, and suddenly he can see very faint colours on the outlines of people. Vune's is white, the Qilin is gold, and the Qilin explains

gold and yellow are beings that are very good, or holy, or both. Blue is one who is good. White is those who aren't good, but aren't evil either-mostly neutral. red is someone who is bad but not pure evil. Black is one who has no good in them, or are demonic. If you see one with multiple colors that normally indicates some sort of possession. Good luck to you, I suggest you hurry back to the docks and deal with those guards.

he walks back and looks at the people that couldn't walk through.

Veera is red, while several of the volunteers are black a couple are red. Vunes dog Ino, is yellow. The 2 marines are red as well. Vune whispers to Charles

Sort them out and we can deal with them. I suggest we interragote them first, before we off them.

what about the marines that stayed back?

The bad volunteers and marines are tied up at gunpoint, one attempts to flee but is knocked out.

I believe they need a trial before they can be executed.

oh right let me change that.

Vune nods

Just a reminder though, red doesn't necessarily mean they actually did anything illegal or bad-just that there a bad person. So those marines if they were red are probably not involved in the local kidnappings, though I do recommend keeping an eye on them. But yeah we can interragote them later, I say we drop them off with Burt and go check out the docks. Point out anyone with a black aura and we can round them up. Ill have Ino go searching around for some of the slavers.

She turns to her dog

You know what to do girl- go get them.
The dog runs off

Charles drops off the prisoners with burt and then walks to the docks.

The group goes to the docks, as Vune turns to Veera having an idea.

Your a pretty young woman Veera, why don't you go, pretty yourself up, and try to get nabbed.

Veera groans

Fine. Not like i'm good for anything else at the moment.

She quickly leaves, changes her clothes, and starts wandering through alleys alone grumbling. Vune begins looking through the docks checking cargo, while she leaves Charles to check the guards.
