Bermuda Daily - Issue #43

Talking about punk music the first names that comes to mind are the British Clash (listen to Issue #16) and Sex Pistols (a future Issue?). US had their punk bands too (I'm talking about the 70s movement when originally punk music was born, not the punk revival).

Around mid 70s in New York four boys in high school met and decided to form a band. They chose to all use the same name, as if they were related. Curiously, the idea has been taken from a McCartney nickname, and many years later the same idea has been used by the band of another ex-Beatle, George Harrison. We'll suggest some song of them, one day. But today listening suggestion is one of the most known song of The Ramones.

Radio Image Bermuda presents Blitzkrieg Bop performed by The Ramones in one of their two thousands live exhibition (nearly two live concert a week, a record!)
(Studio version has a bit more clean sound, just a bit.)

Hey Ho, Lets Go!
Hey Ho, Lets Go!
Hey Ho, Lets Go!
Hey Ho, Lets Go!
They're forming in a straight line
They're goin through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
Blitzkreig Bop

Enjoy! And see you tomorrow.
:)
Stay tuned on Radio Image Bermuda!
