Bermuda Daily - Issue #38

This is a special Issue, where there are more suggestions than one only. There will be a link between the tracks and in this first special edition the connection is the Fantasy Draft V.
The first one is well known, even if the popularity of the song might shadow the popularity of the band. They formed in the late 70s and a few years later a movie director, their fan, asked them to compose the soundtrack for a movie. The track became one of the most known, not only in the 80s but still today, used in many tv ads and referenced in other movies. That band's name was Survivor, the director (and actor), who reached the fame with a movie he write, and strongly wanted and supported, a few years before, was Sylvester Stallone.
The song is Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. ^^

Lets jump to the late 90s. The second one is another "eye". This band has the roots in the same city (that is Chicago), nearly ten years later.
Released as a single in 1997, this song did belong to a movie soundtrack too. We're talking about Eye by Smashing Pumpkins. ^^

Now, still in the US but lets shift forward a few years. In 2015 appeared an album named The Firewatcher's Daughter and this album included a classic acoustic country track with a very simple name: The Eye by Brandi Carlile and this song became very popular in her concerts. ^^

In 1988, after the tragical death of their bassist, the members of another US band decided to keep on and released another album after their well known Master of Puppets. The following one was …And Justice for All and it opened with this powerful Eye of the Beholder by Metallica. ^^

And after US bands and artists, one from England. He's been an audio engineer, working with The Beatles and Pink Floyd and Wings (McCartney's band, after the split of The Beatles), recording engineer, producer, and also composer, and eventually in 1975 he, together with Eric Woolfson, created a musical project.
One of their biggest success is the 1982 album Eye in the Sky and here we present the main track, together with the short (also wordly known) intro. Here's Sirius & Eye in the Sky by Alan Parsons Project. ^^
