When you said the gun crews abandoned the guns I assumed they all left out of fear of Emilia, as for otts, that's what the mage guild in the middle east is called. Short for Ottoman basically. Havn't actually made an actual anagram out of the letters.


The statue broken, the spirit is freed as she just looks to Jack and smiles

That was a mistake.

before Emily can react the spirit fades away, reappearing in the nearby fort, possessing a man and igniting it's powder room, creating a large explosion, the spirit continues spreading more chaos along the island as Emily frantically looks for it, cursing all the while. The enemy fleet quickly change tactics, and ram their ships into Jacks, hop overboard and ignite their powder rooms, wiping out their fleet's attack force and causing large damage to Jacks. The men who hopped overboard, stay below the waves a few shouting as they hop overboard.

Hope your ready for another attack later today. We were a vanguard. Edward is coming soon with his ships.

Jack unleashes a fury of curses which lasts for twenty minutes. He puts his sword away and runs up a signal:

shoot them

The OTTs are shot dead in the water, not one survives, sharks come and pick off the remains. Jack fumes:

My. Fucking. Fort.

a nearby man quivers

S-sir..

jack gives the man a deathly scowl

What?

the man says

If you hadn't broken the-

Jack roars in fury

HOW IN WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT THAT SHE WASNT DEAD?!

jack calms a little and says, seething

And now...we're going to die. Because now..all of my ships cannot fight a fresh battle....

jack stares out into the distance, looking fearful

the mage guild is called otts because well they are located in Ottoman territories for the most part. Not all of them are actual ottomans, nor were all these men part of the mage guild of ott. Just that the otts were helping them somewhat. Also the men under water would be pretty much completely safe against your attacks. The water would both make aiming at them very hard, and the bullets wouldn't be able to travel with enough force to kill them through the water.


The spirit reappears in front of Jack laughing.

She is cut off when she is blasted once more into stone by Emily who finally found her. She quickly shouts for Eloth to carry it down into the lair, as she looks at all the damage done.

Yeah, you all won't be able to deal with another fight by tonight. If you want you can move as much as you can of your stuff into the caves and i can just seal it off and we can wait it out. Or i could help you all leave the island to a different area for a while. Just decide quickly, the longer we wait the less time i have to prepare.

They can't stay there forever, at least some would have been killed

the living ones wouldn't be able to, but the ones who are already dead don't need to breath and can just stay underwater indefinitely. And again, the water between them and your bullets would make any and all shots useless, even if perfectly aimed.



Emily shrugs

I can hide what I can, but no promises on how much that will be. As for leaving, you all can just hop through a portal in my lair to escape. That sound good to you?

Emily quickly leads Jack to a very deep remote place in her lair, with around a dozen large crystals set up in a circle. She fiddles with them and a pretty large portal opens up to another cave She gesture into it.

That will lead you straight towards one of my mothers old lairs, which is on the coast east of Seaglory. From there you can go north to Vaasburg to get help from the Spaniards there, or if you have any friends over in seaglory go there instead.

The crystals quickly shift to red, as the ghost flies by and shouts before vanishing

One last trick to remember me bye, I rigged your little teleporter, have fun.

Emily simply looks to the crystals, her eyes wide in horror before saying to Jack in a low though worried voice

Jack, hurry and get everyone through that portal. Because it's going to blow up in a bit. Im gonna be trying to keep that from happening, but no promises.

As the last of them are sent through, Emily quickly closes the portal after making sure Eloth, Zephyra and Emilia have gone through too, and begins trying to stabilize the crystals. Meanwhile in the cave Jack and his followers went to, a large opening to the east shows the sea, and after a few minutes a very loud boom is heard, and a shockwave knocks many down, Emilia looks to the east and just sighs

Well that's not a good sign. You all can head to a nearby port, im going back to check to see if she's dead or not.

Eloth just sighs as he begins walking north. A soft laughter is heard as the spirit flies by and shouts

Ding dong the witch is dead. And with that i do believe i am finished here.

Eloth growls as the spirit leaves, and just continues heading north mumbling to himself

Bah, probably lying. Hell if she is mother can do something im sure. Gonna be hell to pay for these buggers i promise you that.
