Phone Notifications

I was just wondering why we cannot recieve phone notifications. We get through email but that doesnt always get noticed right away.

What if we had a system where you input your phone number & you can get text notifications this would help keep players active when new players do not re login they could get a text that says "Arghhhh its been 1 week since you last sailed these seas" or something. Plus this would make it easier to see when your getting attacked or have a new message. you could make it so you opt in and out of which notifications you want to get

This is not needed.

You can have your phone get notifications from email alerts how it is.

That and its another piece of data Admins have to handle (I trust them with my data, thus why I am here.) However, to have a persons email address is one thing, to have there phone number is another. (You can change email address easily, phone number... Not so easy - Still easy but you get what I mean, maybe.) More sensitive data, at least in my opinion.

agree though - as Nelson stated you can get email notification from game, and you can set your emails to notify your phone so this is already possible.

CJ texts me all the time. He keeps "notifying" me that I should not be:

1. Trying to steal his cutter
2. Making passes at JessicaA

I finally just blocked him...
