Jack stands on the quarterdeck of the Dismas, drinking some coffee, his 49 other ships behind it, looking impressive , giving many the reminder of what ships are, instruments of death, floating batteries that can destroy anything they fire upon

The fleet sails onward peacefully for most of the day, the admiral checks his maps periodically, and determines that they will probably encounter the other fleet early morning, and he decides to retire early, Zephyra on the other hand continues looking over her books, as she feels a icy feeling in her gut as she mumbles to herself

This is going to be a very bad battle. Why the hell couldn't mother have sent Emily, or Veera. Why'd it have to be me. Well if nothing else, mother will come for me if I end up in too much danger.

Zephyra looks up as a light begins to pour down, and she just curses under her breath

Well, that's not a good sign.

All the admiral's crew quickly don rain gear, as they double check supplies and their weapons. A few pray for clear weather tomorrow.

Jack puts on a boat cloak and begins to run about ordering his men to prepare for a storm

Reef topsails and take in the royals, prepare the pumps, batten down the hatches and prepare for a gale.

Signals are run up to relay orders to the rest of his fleet

As the rain begins pouring down harder and harder, and the winds begin picking up with great speed, the young admiral curses at this, and quickly signals for his fleet to dock at the nearby southern island of Prote, until it dies down some. He hopes that the enemy fleet will take damage from the storm. Zephyra meanwhile seeing this weather begin to turn foul begins chanting, giving her ship a bit of protection from the weather, as she follows the admiral east to the nearby island. Back in Prote, news arrives of the storm, and how the battle may be delayed for some time. Eloth grumbles at this, as he considers what to do. After thinking for a bit he shrugs and begins digging a trench near the dock, shouting around to some other locals as he tosses out some shovels.

Anyone willing to help make a few defensive trenches? We just got ourselves a bit more time, and it would be a shame to let it to go to waste.

Jack, you and your fleet and men are currently at sea-Eloth is back behind at Prote, since he was told to stay and guard there.

The fleet quickly sails there, and begins to wait out the storm. A few carrier pigeons are sent out to Prote, to try to deliver some messages though it's unlikely any will make it due to the weather. The admiral spends this time going over some maps and thinking about possible escape routes and points of interest.

Jack walks about, helping things onboard the ships in the harbor, hoping he can pipe his men to dinner soon

After a few hours the storm slowly fades away and the admiral quickly gives the order to set sail after checking for any damage. He checks his map once more and figures that they will see the enemy tomorrow, assuming they stopped as well.
