Well, to be fair, Emily and the rest of her family more or less got all the time in the world. By the time all of us are old and grey, those ladies with their magic will still be young and healthy. I'm almost tempted to ask for some of that myself. Emily will probably come in soon enough, we could ask her for what she thinks we might want.

Sure enough Emily comes in and sits down, and just smiles

Think of anything yet? I know it ain't an easy thing to do. But honestly we can wait for quite a while-just try to think of something before you die from old age or disease. Though I suppose if that happens we will just give your wish to your next of kin or something. Or maybe to the runner up Eloth and his teammates. They did get a nice booby prize though, a nice chunk of gold and some magic items.

Still thinking about it.But Some ideas wouldn't go amiss.

She thinks for a moment

Well a never ending flask of rum since you like drinking so much. The ability to breathe underwater in case you ever lose a sea battle and are lost at sea so you won't ever need to worry about drowning. Revenge against someone you hate, like that mage that enslaved James, could ask to know where he's at and for us to help you kill him. Help for abolishing slavery in avonmora, ask for a very powerful weapon of some kind. Ask for us to make Valorim heavily protected against most magic, or to make it bigger. Eternal youth, honestly I can think of so many things it's hard to list them all.

Jack leans back

I'll probably have it in a few months.

She nods

That's fine. What about you James. Any of those sound good to you? Revenge against that mage for example? If not just take your time. We won't be going anywhere any time soon.

[Jack Teach]

James says

I'll have to think in it for a while as well.

[Meliva]

She nods

Well, if you think of something just let me know, and ill pass it on to the others. Try to make it a good request. I know I told you that you could ask for something like a never ending flask of rum, but I seriously hope none of you ask for something stupid like that. Regardless, the arena will be closing for a while. Most of the monsters we made to try out are dead by now. Though I must say, I think we accomplished everything we wanted to with the arena. We earned plenty of gold, got some good experience and knowledge, and have a list of capable people we can recruit now. And, perhaps best of all, the locals have seen just how much magic can accomplish, and our other businesses will be booming once news spread.

Carl thinks for a long hard minute and asks

Can my wish be used to make my body indestructible? That way i won't be getting crushed or beaten anymore?

Emily thinks for a minute and responds

Eh, maybe. That's a tall order, ill run it by Vune to see if it can be done. If so, consider it done. If nothing else we can definately make your body tougher and harder to hurt-maybe not completely indestructible.

[Jack Teach]

Jack says

Well, thank you for making this arena happen, I'll have some stories to tell my son now.

She laughs

Honestly I had very little to do with the arena aside from making most of the monsters. Auntie Vune was the one who thought of it, made the deal with the governor for permission and land to build it, and handled most of the ideas. Then she had the rest of the guild handle the rest. Ton built it, Dow funded it, etc.

She was quite upset when it bombed last time due to that attack, so she really doubled down on it this time. It will probably open up again in a year or 2. I myself am really proud that Emilia went undefeated in it. Though she came close to losing due to Eloth. Next time I think ill have a different creation be the champion-Im thinking Ellenor. Regardless good job. You all did great in the battles.
