yeah, I read that Jack threw the knife, then misread James as Jack in the next sentence. As in Jack threw the knife and grabbed the flag. Their names are so damn similar I keep confusing them. I suppose now I know how everyone else feels with my names. Vune-Veera, Emily-Emilia-Ellen

Brian thinks for a bit.

Well we know Eloth is obviously somewhat demonic to say the least-so Jack's sword would be real good against him, but he's real big and strong, and we would have trouble beating him even 4 on one. He also seems to be waiting up there, and probably won't come after us until it's just us and him. Emilia on the other hand, well she's taken somewhat of a beating already-and my mace has full charge left, and with some acid vials I have left, and maybe some grenades if we can make them perhaps we could take her out once the other groups are all taken out rushing her. We might also be able to jump her, come back acting as if we wish to check on her, only to spring an attack. It would be a rather cruel thing given she did help us earlier, but we could do it and possibly win. Regardless we got some time to decide.

Is there any way we can shrink Eloth?

Brian shrugs

I do recall there is a spell for shrinking things, and a potion as well, but I can't cast the spell or make the potion. I spend a lot of time with Emily and her mage friends, so I overhear a lot of magic mumbo jumbo, and so I know some bits and pieces of magic knowledge, but I don't have any magical training.

Brian thinks a bit trying to recall anything he might know while patching himself and Carl up.

Actually, I think Emily did tell me, while we were talking last night that Eloth can't stay in his big form for too long-eventually he tires out and needs to rest. That might be why he stopped fighting Emilia and fled up there-he was running out of time. So, perhaps if we employ hit and run tactics and try to outlast him that might work. But he would probably realize what we are doing and just flee before he shrinks again. We could perhaps hide out near Emilia and hope when he comes by those 2 take eachother out.

The group quickly rush back to the temple, where Emily has just smashed the last of her attackers. She's taken a fair amount of damage but is still standing, she nearly smashed them with a boulder before realizing who it is, and just laughs.

Your all still alive, how amazing. I thought for sure one or 2 of you would have been taken out by now. There isn't many left at this point. Just you 4, Eloth and a few stragglers hiding out slowly being taken out by monsters and eachother. The battle is nearly over. So are you 4 here to try to take me out while im weakened?
