IIRC, the reason gunpowder don't work after getting wet anymore is because one of the ingredients dissolves in water.

I still find it hypocritical for Jack to all of a sudden now be fine with magic weapons when in the past he's repeatedly stated how much he disliked the stuff, But if your adamant about using it fine.

Also yeah that's why blackpowder doesn't work. I think its because saltpeter gets removed.

The 3 get knocked down, but one of them gets right back up, and with his helmet damaged they recognize him as Eloth. He growls in rage as he picks up his 2 teammates, forces a potion they stole down both their throats and heals them up. He then slams his fist into the ground and a small rock wall erupts and surrounds the group, giving them cover as they quickly retreat towards the temple. Brian and Carl both quickly deal with the bugs and begin hopping over the wall as another enemy group quickly rushes at them. Carl shouts in rage

Damn it, James, Jack you 2 go on ahead me and Brian will catch up. If they grab hold of that last flag we lose.

[Jack Teach]

Jack and James chase after chase them, jack picks up a pistol and checks it as he runs. He points it ready to fire

Eloth and his team get into the temple, as he grabs the doors of it and slams them shut, as he grabs his other friend and tells him to hold it shut. Emilia, seeing these 3 enter, and noticing their 9 flags immediately grabs hers, and puts it into her mouth and closes it, Eloth steps forward, shifting into his larger form and rushes forward to attack her, while his lady friend stands back, blasting Emilia with lightning to stun her as best she can. Brian manages to hold the group back on his own as Carl rushes back and begins trying to help Jack and James bust down the door.

jack bangs the doorknob with his cutlass, breaking it. He bursts into the doorway and stabs the man near it

there was only the one guarding it, Eloth is fighting Emilia, while the woman is zapping her.

Eloth grabs and hurls Emilia towards the doorway, and she crashes against it, pushing them out, as Eloth rushes and tries forcing her mouth open, the woman zapping her to keep her from fighting back, but she manages to power through and smashes Eloth backwards, as she gets up and rushes him, the 2 giants struggling and fighting against eachother. Carl gets up and rushes the woman, knocking her out, as Brian rushes into the temple, as several more groups begin to converge into the area. Eloth reaches over and grabs the flags from his companion and continues trying to force open the golems mouth for the final one.

[Jack Teach]

jack throws a knife into eloth's shoulder, he screams. James leaps through the air, grabs a flag, and rolls into a run. He sprints out the back door, high-tailing it as fast as possible.

Eloth distracted by the small dagger in his shoulder is suddenly thrown back by Emilia, Eloth roars in rage as he smashes back into her, he shouts back to James

Run while you can, you can't win without all 10 flags or beating everyone else or Emilia-and I doubt you can beat me and i know for damn sure you can't beat her. Ill just wait it out for either her to be weakened or until it's just you and me, and ill win by crushing whoever is left.

Eloth pushes Emilia back and rushes out the front door, before taking off flying up to the top of the large temple and sits and waits with his flags. He raises some makeshift walls around himself as he keeps watch from his new perch. Brian and Carl both look to Emilia as she stands up, having been cracked somewhat, but still mostly fine. The 2 quickly follow after James when several groups rush in shouting for Jack to follow, while the other groups begin attacking Emilia, tossing grenades and vials of potions at her, while she smashes them back. Brian says to James when he catches up as he gazes at the temple and quickly smashes a crystal, forming a small fort around the group.

I think Eloth is planning to wait for all the groups to either lose to us or Emilia, and then finish off whoevers left. Emilia's taken some decent damage also-it will probably come down to either us needing to beat him or her. We can rest in this little fort before making a move.
