RP- Again to the Arena in Akrotiri

[Meliva]

A voice from nearby shouts rather loudly.

You can thank me for that.

From nearby a single woman stands who quickly blasts a large bout of water into them, it doesn't hurt though it does push them back some, but they quickly realize what its real purpose was, as all the gunpowder and firearms are completely soaked and worthless. The woman simply smiles as she quickly darts away, a nearby man with his sword and shield laughs. The few remaining members of the surviving groups all focus on them, and rush forward to do battle.

Yeah that woman ruined all our gunpowder too, glad she finally hit you all just in time. Now its a bit more fair.

Jack and James level their bayonets

I think not.

Jack and James step forward and begin viciously swinging their rifles and thrusting with their bayonets. Jack swings his musket, sending it smashing into an enemy's face, spraying blood and knocking him down. James thrusts into a man's shoulder. He howls in pain as James slams him into the ground. Jack and James continue fighting, using their muskets as clubs and spears, bashing faces and stabbing

From behind several men rush in, having snuck around the buildings, one of them smashes a shield into Jack's face, while 2 others grab his musket, rip it from him before beating him with clubs and shields, 3 others ram James, and tackle him, and begin slamming fists and clubs into him. Carl is mostly ignored due to his lack of weapons and armor, while Brian quickly presses himself into a wall, to keep from getting attacked from the rear as several more come at him. Carl quickly slams himself into the group jumping on Jack, and get's 2 of them off him, while the 3rd continues wailing on him.

Jack stabs him through the leg and pushes him away. Jack drinks part of a healing potion to fix himself. James slashes one in the face with his hanger. His sword gets knocked from his hand, he draws a dagger, and grapples with the two men, he then kicks one in the groin, and stabs one in the shoulder. He howls and James then punches him with his dagger hand, knocking him out .

A very small man quickly rushes through the group, not holding any weapons at all, and simply rams into Jack, before darting into James, then Carl all in a quick blur before running off into the bushes, Carl checks his items and notices that the man took quite a bit of stuff from all of them, he stamps his foot in anger and rushes after him after taking out another man, only 3 are left, after Brian takes out 2 of his, as he shouts at Carl to wait, though Carl shouts back

We can't afford to let another group get our stuff, if it gets too dangerous ill come back, but i can't let that bugger get away-you lot deal with the remaining chumps.

The 3 men all raise their shields and weapons and each rushes into combat.

Jack throws his musket like a spear. It strikes an enemy through the shoulder, knocking him down. James spars with one for a couple minutes, blocking his sword cuts and thrusts. James eventually kicks the shield from his enemy's hands and knocks him out with his sword pommel. The last one attacks Brian

Brian blocks with his shield, and smashes his mace into his enemy's skull. From nearby Carl shouts for them to hurry after him. Brian does so, and a loud voice echoes across the island.

Quite a few of the contestants have been eliminated, and now the monsters and beasts are being released. The guardian at the center is still standing, mostly untouched and one group now has 8 flags.

From nearby some slimes and golems arrive, and immediately begin attacking another group that were just about to ambush them. And from nearby other shouts of alarm and fighting is heard, as Carl continues shouting directions to where the thief went.

Jack and James follow. Jack says to Brian:

Who threw water on us do you think?

Brian shrugs

Some woman, not sure who the hell that was.

Nearby Carl is seen beating his fists into the thiefs face until he's knocked out. On the ground one bag of stolen stuff is sprawled about, much of it smashed and ruined, while the other bags he had are now missing. Carl gets up as his body fades and shouts to the others picking up a single potion he got back along with a single flag.

He tossed a lot of the stuff he stole to that lady from earlier, I think he was on her team. So at least we can take comfort knowing that she has one less ally. Between Brian's stuff and what I got back we have 4 health potions left. And a couple flasks of acid. I got a flag too, so no need to worry of someone winning that way.

From nearby a rope wraps around the flag, and is yanked from Carl, into the hand of the woman from earlier, she smiles as she puts it into her bag and shouts happily.

9 flags, and I know that golem has the tenth. Have fun fighting the beasts, while my team goes and wins.

She smashes a gourd near them which lets out a sweet scent, which attracts a few giant roaches as the woman and 2 men next to her run away toward the temple.
