Jack fires his carbine and then his pistols at its head. His men fire their guns at the beast's head several of his men throw grenades doing a lot of damage.

Vune just chuckles as she tosses several daggers into the beast, as it roars in anger at the damage its taking.

Rhena has the habit of making the most disgusting beasts possible, and insects are a favorite choice of hers.

The beast rears back, and from it's wounds more monsters emerge. Vune just sighs

She also tends to stuff smaller beasts into bigger ones, as a nasty surprise for anyone who wounds it.

Did you know that shortly after I was born, mother was so upset about who my father was she used magic to terminate every single gene and trait you passed onto me, and replaced it? Because mother didn't want a mindless bloodthirsty idiot for a daughter you blathering fool. You really think being good at mindless slaughter and being a idiot drunkard are good traits? Its no wonder mother never cared that you left-she knew you would be a failure of a father, and she was actually glad you left you know.

And your so idiotic you even give yourself titles and boast about claims that are entirely not true. Mother could make a list of people who have killed more then you, can fight better then you, and are more battle hardened then you a mile long. Your nothing special-and the fact you needed a devil to boost your power just makes that all the more obvious. Hell even with that power your struggling against these foes-without it, I imagine you'd be pulp right now. Regardless the genetics mother replaced yours with are far superior anyway. Zephyra sits and continues watching the battle, also focusing on the castle and wondering how things are going inside.

As Aloeth shouts to her men, they react with battle seasoned quickness. The front two use the blunt sides of their weapons to push the beast with the smaller bugs up on its back few legs. The next two swing around and chop at those back legs, severing them. And two more help push the beastie on its back, the effort made tons easier by Jack's bullet through the eye. By then, four of the remaining six have tossed several flasks of alchemists fire on the beast, and the other two quickly light it on fire. Aloeth grins at the burning site, watching the smaller ones escape the body only to begin burning themselves. She chuckles, knowing how hard it is to douse alchemists fire.

Only magic can douse that. Where to next? Maybe we needs be killin' the weaker casters before takin' on yer own beast of a magician?
