RP- Battle against the Colisquian fleet

As they finally get to Caspian Eden notices only 2 of their ships they sent elsewhere are here, the frigate James Blood took and the other being the one the young man took. They quickly find out that after fighting off the slavers to the north they fled elsewhere, but when the pirate fleet began to head to Caspian to regroup they were decimated when crossing the Prote strait, with only one ship escaping just barely. Eden curses. She heard rumors that the Spanish had quickly begun fortifying the nearby straits, but she didn't think they were anywhere close to being done. She quickly lays out the next part of the plan.

We restock here, and then we hit Prote. Then MAYBE we can hit Chalkos, but Hannes is definitely out of the question. Those who wish to try anyway may do so, but the rest of the fleet won't be forced to help. We can spend a day here resting and restocking then we set out immediately.

Jack goes ashore to rest

The next day the fleet having rested and restocked sail off again to Prote, about a day and a half away, along the way all that are seen are a few small fishing vessels scattered throughout, who try to steer clear of the pirate fleet. Upon seeing them Eden quietly mumbles to herself

These small dogger's wouldn't be hard to capture and loot, but it would be mostly fish and the ships certainly won't be worth much either. And it would make more enemies for us. Best to leave them be I suppose.

Eden gives orders to keep sailing and leave the boats alone. Carl meanwhile fishes from his Brig as they travel, occasionally catching a fish. Eden continues mumbling various numbers and items as she tries to balance out profits so far not looking too happy as she does so.

Jack stands on the quarterdeck and orders signals to keep the fleet on ethe right wind

Eventually the fleet nears Prote, and Eden quickly gives out some orders to all the fleets and men

Same as last time, no senseless destruction, no senseless slaughter, take what you can that's valuable from the richer houses and mansions. We definitely need to check the governor's mansion here to see if that sultaness woman is in it-our profits so far are not good. But if we ransom her that alone will easily offset any losses taken. Let us hope she is here, though I somewhat doubt it. After this battle depending on how many we lose will determine whether or not we press for another sacking. But it is very unlikely we will sack all the remaining ports on our list. Regardless prepare for battle, we will wait for dawn of tomorrow and attack as the sun rises. Make sure your weapons are in good shape, and pray to whatever deity you worship that it ends in our favor.

the fleet prepares for battle

At dawn the next day the fleet quickly moves in for battle, Eden leading several large ships to battle the nearby fort, while the rest go ashore to raid the port. Along the docks and other beachheads the port has stationed artillery and other cannons and quickly blast any longboats that approach, while the rest of the port guards are already stationing themselves in cover and prepping for a huge fight. Far off in the governor's mansion the doors and quickly boarded up, and guards keep watch at every window prepared to shoot any pirates who approach. Eden mumbles softly to herself

Well I figured they knew we were coming. This won't be an easy battle. I really hope this will be profitable.

Some of the ships fire shots towards the docks and beacheads, destroying the artillery that has ben placed there. The men get in longboats rowing ashore. They begin to march ashore in ordered groups and they go into the noble and merchant houses and they find massive amounts of treasure. They kill all the guards they find, cutting them down with pistol and sword .

As the pirates begin looting the treasure, they notice a few large expensive looking chests, upon opening them a massive series of explosions occur, killing countless pirates, destroying all the loot and demolishing many of the houses. The locals slaves, upon being freed by the pirates immediately turn on them, killing countless more as one of the slaves shout at them.

We knew you were coming you fools, and we made quite a few preparations. For example, moving all the slaves elsewhere and having our guards pose as them, and rigging very deadly traps in loot filled rooms knowing how greedy you lot are. You may sack this port, but your going to leave empty handed and limping. That is if you get past our reinforcements.

Off in the horizon a very large Spanish fleet begins to sail towards the pirate fleet, Eden looks at all of this and is horrified. She shouts loudly to the others

All men, back on board now, we gotta get the hell outta here, anyone who isn't back on board in the next 5 minutes is getting left behind.

The men quickly get to their ships and sail away
