RP- Battle against the Colisquian fleet

After some times has passed the team that had moved in land at Jack's command comes back, only a handful are left. They officer goes to Jack and shouts

We might want to take what we got and move on to the next port. There's some very big forts inland and a very large garrison of troops there. We literally got slaughtered in about a minute due to all the cannon fire, artillery and muskets that were fired at us. Besides we can move on to Caspian and reunite with the fleet we sent to the Hannes strait to bolster our numbers for the next sacking.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods

We may be able to come back later. I apologize for that order, it may have been in haste. I'll compensate you all handsomely.

[Meliva]

He nods and heads back to the ships and the fleet gathers what loot they can and begin preparing to go to Caspian. Eden examines the damages done so far and profits gained as she mumbles to herself.

Okay we started with 400 ships, 40 went to Hannes so 360 were with us. Lost about 10 in our first fight but gained around 15, but then the second fight took out around 100 and we gained about 80 back. Crew losses are massive but the slaves balance that out, and the loot we took isn't great but it's decent.

She shouts to Jack

So far from what i can see I think we are more or less balanced out. Once we regroup at Caspian let's target the place that sultaness is at. She probably has massive loot, and if we take her alive we can ransom her for a fortune. But she probably has massive defenses so we may not be able to sack any more ports after fighting her.

[Jack Teach]

Jack looks to her

We need to free the rest of the slaves from the other ports

Eden shrugs

We can certainly try, but we already have taken a fair beating so far. We can't win every time Jack, if it seems like we lack the strength to sack the remaining ports, it's better to fall back and regain our strength and come again later then get ourselves killed fighting a fight we can't win. Regardless we should head to Caspian and join up with the 40 ships and men we sent to Hannes. After that we can go and sack the next port. They may have an idea of where she's at if we are lucky.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods

We'll find a way.

Eden shakes her head

I ain't going to commit to an attack that I think will end in our deaths. Life ain't a fairy tale Jack, not everyone get's a happy ending, nor does every story end with everyone happy. We can try to save as much as we can, and get what loot we can, but if It seems like a fight won't end with our victory I sure as hell won't commit to it. For now let's sail north to Caspian, more ships and more men will greatly benefit us in our next attack.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods

Fine then. When this is over, I'm going to launch my own attack. I will not at least make an attempt to help these people.

Jack walks off to his ship as the men carry the loot back to the ships

Eden shouts to Jack.

I would seriously advise against it- If we would have a tough time beating a port together then going off on your own will surely end in a crushing defeat, but if you wish to avoid common sense and rush off like a fool go ahead, just don't be surprised when you fail.

Eden goes about seeing the ships quickly get loaded and final preparations made as they begin to sail north to Caspian. If the winds are good they should arrive in about a day and a half. She goes over the profits quickly, mumbling to herself

Still about even as of now, but given the fact most of the slaves intend to return home, and that a good chunk of our current ships are Veera's and she wants them back and to be reimbursed for any missing ones, we are definitely going to be in the red by the end of this But if we catch the sultaness that should put us back in the green easily.
