Eh, I can do it for a while. Been around him so much I more or less picked up all the stuff he normally says and does. Not like I need to do it forever or anything. If nothing else, im sure they would understand the situation and just visit other churches til he comes back.

The papers Vune gave Jack read roughly as follows.

The governor's of Thorokas and Caspian permit Jack Teach, and those serving under him safe travel across the Great Strait. Jack Teach in return shall do no harm to either Port, or any vessels travelling the Strait. Should one of the parties break this agreement, Vune will brutally slaughter the person or persons who break this agreement.

Jack must also pay the standard toll of using the Strait of 100 gold per ship, 250 if 50 or more ships is crossing at once and 500 per ship if over 100.

[Jack Teach]

Jack puts the paper away. There is a loud cheering coming from the docks. Jack looks over sharply:

What the devil?!

Carl looks over and prepares for trouble. He whispers to Jack

I think it's probably just that Eden lady celebrating her promotion, but be on guard just in case Jack.

[Jack Teach]

Jack walks down to the docks, a troop of well-dressed sailors bump into him. Jack says indignantly:

Watch where your going!

One of the sailors says something rude, jack gives him an icy stare. The sailor cowers, realizing who he insulted

S-sorry sir.

More sailors walk by him, nodding and saluting as they do so. Jack stares in front of him

Carl stands beside him and just nods, looking for any signs of the woman, he whispers to Jack

So you mentioned she was obnoxious, is that the only thing bad about her? Like is she evil or cruel or sadistic like Veera, or not that bad?

[Jack Teach]

Jack chuckles, looking exasperated. But not at Brian

She's cruel, and sadistic. Though not in the way that veera is.

A woman steps forward, wearing a feminized version of men's clothes.

Carl looks confused as he looks to Jack

How is she different then? Cruel and sadistic seem pretty standard for the most part. Is she more cruel and sadistic, less? Does she kick puppies or what?

Carl looks to the woman then back at Jack.

You know, I think I got a bad feeling about her honestly. But she can't be much worse then Veera, so I think ill stay with you.

[Jack Teach]

She walks over, smiles, stands there for a bit, and walks away.

Carl whispers to Jack

That was weird. Also back to my question, how is her sadism and cruelty different then Veera's? In my opinion a sadist is a sadist, and a cruel person is simply cruel.

She's not a super violent one. She might slap my dog, or something, she wouldn't cut anybody up though. She gets pleasure out of making people's lives hell.
