Veera just laughs as they leave. The next day Emily returns and visits Jack and tells him Veera wishes to see him. She, Carl and Zephyra both go back to Veera who is standing over the corpse of the man looking absolutely horrified as she drinks some wine as she waits. The whole time mumbling to herself something about a bat as she waits for Jack to come back.

Veera just shakes her head looking strangely horrified.

Well I learned that both me, and Emily are going to be murdered by our aunt vune when she get's this news. But I suppose you mean with the fleet. They have about 40 ships there. Mostly 2nd and 3rd rates. A few first. And some land forces stationed all along the strait patrolling. Brian is being held captive by that Edward fellow.

She takes another large drink of wine before shaking her head as she looks to Emily, Veera looks absolutely terrified.

If we don't fix our little f*ck up before Vune gets back and cover it up, she WILL kill us if she finds out how badly we f*cked up sis, and I really do not want to die.

This'll be hard.

Veera just scoffs

Hard he says. I'd trade positions with you in a HEARTBEAT right now, especially given how easy this battle should be for you if you were a bit more clever. Meanwhile me and Emily need to deal with bloody Agrat or Vune will kill us.

Emily's eyes widen as she looks horrified before shouting in fear

Wait, I thought we only had to deal with Eric, the hell do you mean we need to deal with Agrat! That's suicidal.

Veera just shouts back

Why do you think I'm scared? Agrat is helping Eric, so we need to deal with both of them. If we don't Vune will kill us. So no matter what, we either die fighting Agrat, or we die fighting Vune. Either way we are probably going to die. But if we work together we may pull through. Anyway, you can go deal with you enemy Jack. Me and Emily will be here, planning our strategy.

Zephyra goes to join him, but Veera grabs her and whispers to her

Let Jack fight his own battle. You should be here helping us with Agrat, that's the biggest threat to the family right now. I think maybe JUST maybe if all 3 of us work together we may stand a chance-she shouldn't be back at full strength just yet. Carl can help Jack with his fight. The 3 of us need to prepare.

She nods as she joins them. Carl taking control of Brian's Brig as he prepares to join Jack in his battle, wanting to free Brian as soon as possible.
