RP- Port Battle for the Strait

Actually, this island can most certainly support these people, it's got tons of food, and then there's the plantation. But I wasn't clear, a lot of the lords will live here indefinitely, but they'll all stay for at least three years.

[Meliva]

Zephyra shrugs

If you say so. But why the hell would the pirate lords live here indefinately and not have all their men stay nearby? That's just asking for trouble. Hell even if they all only stay at minimum for 3 years, it is quite honestly foolish to have all the major members of a group in one area for that long. If something ends up killing them all, then your group will lose almost all of its leaders. Hopefully you lot have a designated survivor in such a case. If not, I suggest you make one.

Regardless, will they be helping in any way while here? Or do they intend to simply be free loaders?

Jack says

Oh they'll help. And they'll be in and out, so they won't always be here. And we do have backups.

After another day, Brian's cutter returns. He goes straight toward Emily's lair to deliver his report there, away from any potential prying eyes. Carl Zephyra and Veera all sit and wait there for Jack to arrive. Veera is eyeing Brian with a sly smile on her face. Chuckling quietly to herself.

Carl nods to Jack as Brian begins to speak.

From what I saw, most of their ships have left to guard the port of Thorokas. About 15 ships remain to guard the strait's opening. Beyond that, I noticed they have supply ships coming from the other side every so often to deliver provisions and supplies.

Veera continues chuckling as she stares at Brian, Zephyra just looks confused at Veera's behavior, but shrugs it off as her being creepy. Brian just glares at her angrily, before turning to Jack

It shouldn't be too hard of a battle. Most of their forces are afraid of you hitting the port and are guarding it over the strait.

Jack looks to Veera and says suspiciously

What's so funny?

Veera just smiles at Jack with a sly smile.

Why don't I show you?

She raises her hand and points it at Brian, and a beam of light blasts outward burning him, as he burns his form changes to that of a different man, before he passes out from the pain. Veera just smiles

That wasn't Brian. That info he gave you was going to lure you right into a trap. I thought about just letting you fall for it, but then i remembered that this man might have information I need, so i decided to capture him.

Carl looks at the imposter before turning to Veera

So where's Brian then?

She shrugs

Dunno. Maybe dead. Maybe locked up. Maybe on an island with a pretty girl doing the horizontal mamba. Im not all knowing you know.

Jack draws a pistol and points it at the man.

Anybody got any rope?

[Meliva]

Zephyra quickly looks around before finding some in a cabinet nearby though Veera just snatches it before she can grab them and chains him up with magic before chastising Zephyra

Your a bloody Helvune family mage damn it, you should be able to conjure some bloody ropes instead of scrounging around for them like a peasant. Going to be a while before the man wakes up. I burned him very badly.

Carl looks and see's quite severe burns on his flesh, though he is still breathing. Veera just sits and waits, while taking out some wine and drinking it.

You all can leave if you want. I plan to extract every bit of knowledge from his skull when he wakes up.
