I see both sides of this and am torn. The fact that so many MoW are parked and rarely see the light of day makes me think A flagship should not be allowed to be docked.

On the other side, there are several reasons I could see that they should be allowed to be docked. Short periods of inactivity, Newer players who don't understand all the mechanics of the game.... etc.

Maybe a hybrid system that does not allow indefinite docking? Maybe add in a significant docking fee charged daily?

Yeah we discussed time, fees etc. previously. Not sure what Admin will consider.

Controllers should never be able to dock another players ship, this allows the player who lost it opportunity and prevents unnecessary hoarding of players flagships.

The owner should be able to dock purely for the reason of inactivity. If I want to take my family camping for a week, I want to put my ship away and know I can come back to enjoy the game. It shouldn't be any more costly to dock than any other ship to me either. Timeframe? Perhaps. Can be docked anytime, but once undocked it cannot be docked again for 3 days. That's how i'd see it.

Not being able to store it for prolonged absence would be the single breaking point of this feature.

On that point I agree, a "vacation mode" type of situation has been discussed as well. As long as there is a max limit placed on it I agree 100%

If a Pirate has a Flagship, then joins a nation. He retains the Flagship and any upgrades it has.. But it will cease to earn more Construction Points while flying a national flag. If he returns to a pirate once more, it will then begin to earn CPs once again.
