Clearly large farms aren't going to say, I have a farm of 6470 acres when they can say 10 sq miles

Besides the point.

You make it sound like killing your slave labor force for under producing is a bad thing. /s

please stop adding new things, i will be facing bankrupcy soon :D
on more serious matter, before i beg for more permissions, is following info still valid?

Production yield will be the same for all resources (same overall output - however, obviously, the more expensive a resource, the less crates will be produced which tends to be better if you intend to transport them).

It is like Christmas shopping for yourself......

here is the explanation..

cptjack [12:30 PM]
prices will remain as they are for now
but all plantations output will be the same
in worth
Here is how:
1 crate = (base price/7) * units (edited)
plantations output units
so the stats will count units
at rankings
in this way, the rankings will be fair

and you will be able to compare a sawmill to a grain farm
plus, it will make no difference in profit
which resource you are producing
so, a food plantation, will produce 1 crate per unit
while a tools workshop, will produce 0.35 crates per unit (or 2.85 units for 1 crate)
this also means that we do not need to change market prices

thanks feniks. this makes me wonder, if world will in time run out of tools, and have surplus of cheaper goods like cotton or wood. as production times are different, yet they can be traded with equal speed

Then these ports will need more acres. We will increase maximum cap of acres to 100k,
20k base and the rest 80k will come from investments in the port.

Plantations biggest problem will be acres and competition. If a port has little competition or many acres, the profits would be beyond belief.

Overall demand for tools is less i believe.

but i see your point. But consider that if you sell them back to port they will be sold at the rate of production. Only if you transport them out of port will that be an issue.

if you look at trade overview on market place you find this to be quite opposite. that page has not updated properly in weeks or months tho, or atleast not resetted during updates

Yes, due to Tortuga-Tzogos route which will eventually start to decline due to dynamic prices.
