Once all the men leave, Emily steps forward to talk to Jack

Just so you know, I found out that Psaral is sending a massive fleet to help support Neapolis. Apparently they agree that blocking off the strait would be good for their business as well. Also found out that Edward is getting help from Eric, which is quite honestly very bad for both of us. Regardless I have more things to look into now. Unless you have any questions you wish to ask before I depart.

How many ships are there and what kind?

Emily thinks

About 50 ships. 5 first rate's, 8 seconds, 10 third's, 14 4th rates, the rest unrated. A pretty solid fleet.

Jack shakes his head

I can't fight that, especially not with the forces I have to spare.

Emily shrugs

Well, if no one stops them, then the strait is as good as gone. But, you don't need to fight that force alone. Remember there are 2 other forces fighting for the strait. Try sailing to Thorokas and asking them to pitch in. They want to tax trade through the strait, so if you tell them about that force coming to destroy it, they might be willing to join with you to stop it. I would also tell you to ask Caspian for help, but since they want to make a fort on it to stop pirates, I doubt they would team up with a literal pirate. I'd offer to help with my creations, but again, I currently don't have them. Vune took most mine and Veera's stuff, and left us with next to nothing.

great. You should get going, that fleet is on its way, I have a few things I need to take care of, so I will see you later.


Emily leaves, while Brian goes to pick up Carl

Jack prepares his twelve ships and sails out. Many ships sail around the island, the lookouts looking everywhere for anything, the forts and shore batteries with their 32 pounder guns are ready to fire at any enemy they see.

Brian and Carl both sail out with him as they head to Thorokas, Zephyra resting in the crows nest.
