They hit us with a lot of chainshot. We did in fact, win the fight however, many of their ships struck their colors and surrendered. The others were extremely battered and it'll take awhile to repair them.

Carl laughs a little

Well we beat the Neapolis fleet technically. The pirate hunters who came to us beat the crap outta us since we were in bad shape after our first fight. Said they were heading to kill Jack's family next. But plenty of forces remain there to guard them.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods

I doubt he will succeed. Emily, do you remember someone named Edward? He lead the pirate hunters.

Emily thinks for a small moment before looking horrified for a moment, before thinking again, and calming down, only to be horrified again as something dawns on her before taking a breath and nodding.

Yeah, orphan kid, you killed his dad who was a governor, mother hanged herself, swore revenge on you all that bad stuff. But that name reminded me of Eric, and now I really need to go and check that hole.

She teleports away in a quick puff, as Zephyra thinks to herself.

Eric, i think i recall that name from somewhere. But hey now we know who edward is.

Alright that makes sense but...how...that was a couple years ago and he was very young.

Well he was possessed by a demon way back then, who's to say he wouldn't make a deal with another for power to kill you. Kid really hated you after all. Which makes me wonder if he might not have some way to get past your forces back home. On a side note, wonder what had Emily so spooked. Really weird seeing someone as creepy as her horrified like that.

The hell did that blood come from? You butcher a cow or something?

Side note, we need to repair these damages. Land isn't too far, we can get some cotton from the farms. Whether you all would prefer to buy or steal it, ill leave up to you.

Ah yes, forgot about that. We did take a beating, so obviously some men were injured. So, we should probably once repaired go and finish off the rest of Neapolis's forces, maybe bomb a few of their warehouses when we reach their port.
