Yes, I remember that thank you.

several rapid bangs are heard and everyone look to see that the remaining thirteen dag have been shot dead and are currently being tossed over the side. Jack looks at his bloody clothes.

The Une ships sail up, and begin handing out supplies and tools. Vune stands next to her daughter and whispers

Good job sweetie, you did great. Also nice sails, the Ziz gave you a feather right?

She nods before replying

So is there anything else of importance to the west?

Vune nods and whispers

Another large island, with a bunch of barred buildings. Be careful there. I think a dragon still lives there, along with a horde of other horrid monsters. Some of the worst I have ever seen.

Vune shrugs

Possibly. I havn't been to that island for a couple centuries, but I recall a dragon lived there. Whether or not it still does I do not know. Actually by now, there could be more then one if it had children. Or maybe it left and there is none left. If it's still there, it probably won't attack you unless you try to steal from it. Honestly its the other beasts on the island you should watch out for, assuming they themselves are still there. That island at one point was a pretty major experimentation and research complex for the Mages guild. But for some reason, it was abandoned, and after a while it was infested with horrid abominations. All that happened long before I was born, so I do not know the details.

Vune corrects him

The dragon, if it still lives there, should be mostly indifferent. They are not mindless beasts after all, they have intelligence and sapience just like you or me. So unless you provoke the beast it should leave you alone. I believe the dragon's name was Kortar. And honestly he may be a good ally. Dragons love to hoard valuables, so If you offer him some gold or treasure, he would probably be willing to help kill any abominations that attack you-he tends to eat them anyway. However, a few quick bits of advice on dragons. Don't ask them questions about their horde, their families, or their lairs. Those type of questions make them think you aim to steal from them, and dragons typically eat thieves.

Jack on hearing this, bangs his head on the wall in exasperation. He comes out of the cabin wearing clean clothes.

We're not going there now. We must go to an island, preferably an uninhabited one, and have some bloody rest for a couple hours. Or if necessary, we will stop in the middle of the ocean and rest here. My men are tired, I'm tired, the spaniards are tired, leoric's men are tired, we all need some rest. My son could be badly injured, possibly loose his arm.

Vune thinks for a moment before replying

Their is an island just to the north, thats uninhabited. it used to be an old prison colony. But i had it closed down about 3 decades ago due to not having enough prisoners to fill it with. Nothing lives there now, I had the whole island sterilized and put up some barriers to keep things out. I also left a bunch of old medical supplies and beds there that I didn't need. I had planned to find something else to use it for but havn't thought of anything yet and forgot about it. We can head there, Ill open up the barrier, then we all can rest safely.

Zephyra looks a bit worried

Can't you just teleport the fleet back to a friendly island or port? I don't know how I feel about sleeping in an old abandoned prison.

Vune shakes her head and gestures to her tattered robes

Sweetheart, I literally just came back from Hell-that takes a lot out of me-I need to have a proper rest as badly as all of you honestly.

Vune nods

No problem. I needed to come back and check the place out sooner or later anyway. Just head straight north for about an hour and we should be there.
