Well that would be based on the fact that your drinking Api juice. Tastes a bit alcoholic but isn't really. A lot of people like to drink a glass of it a day. Any more then that normally gives a man the runs.

Jack takes a drink if his juice.

This isn't bad actually. What kind of food do you have?

The man thinks for a moment before speaking

Well, for meats we have various fish, ornk meat, bat, lizard, rat, squid, chicken, other birds
We have most fruits and vegetables, got several greenhouses for growing various crops all year round. Bread, and other grains too.

brian thinks for a moment before asking

So you eat rats, bats, and lizards? Also the hell is an ornk?

The man shrugs

Not just humans eat here. The netar are cat like-they love eating rats, bats and lizards. And an Ornk is basically a cowpig. Really popular meat honestly.

Jack turns around and shifts his sword so it fits more comfortably on his body.

food is given out, Carl deciding to be adventurous tries every type of meat they have. A few times he nearly vomits, other times he looks very pleased. Eventually he finishes the last bite of food, looking stuffed. It's been around an hour, so Zephyra gets up and begins walking back to the lair.

Jack scarfs down his food and thanks the bartender. He leaves some gold on the table and walks out with the priest following behind

Vune is seen exiting the lair, covered in blood, missing an arm and having holes throughout her body. She nods to the group and speaks in a surprisingly cheeful voice

So, the defenses are all gone, and its safe to explore. Now if you will excuse me, i need a bath, as i am currently in a fair amount of pain, and need to sit down and heal up.

She walks with a slight limp towards the bathhouse, as zeph shrugs and goes in and sits down in a small lounge room of the lair and waits. Brian asks somewhat curious if Vune will be ok. Zeph nods

Been a long time I seen mom injured like that. But if she was in serious danger she wouldn't be so cheerful. Still, this place did a number on her. Glad we stayed behind.

Zeph points to a large wine cabinet nearby as she goes and examines it.

Nope. but looks like some wine is here. Similar stuff I shared with back on your ship a while ago. Our family are huge fans of wine-anything else is just meh to us.

She notices they are all of the same brand and that interests her as takes one out and reads it.

Helvune Crimson, 1499. Oh wow, I recall hearing about this kind. It's mothers favorite, don't know why they call it crimson-it looks more purple to me.

She pours herself a glass and takes a drink, she at first seems to like, though she looks a tad confused until her eyes widen and she quietly puts it back up before sitting back down covering her mouth and looking to Jack.

I, do not recommend drinking any of the wine. Though the name makes sense to me now.
