Vune calls out

Apology accepted. Im sorry I dismembered you too. I was rather upset over my daughter nearly dying. I may not be the nicest person-I admit I can be rather cruel and petty. But I do care deeply for my family-and I despise seeing them suffer or in great danger. Your a father Jack-im sure you can relate to not wanting your child about to be swallowed up by the hellmouth.

Vune hugs her daughter tightly, before continuing

Oh just to clarify that thing was the hellmouth. One of the entrances to hell from earth-it occasionally lures sailors into it and devours them. That's actually how I entered hell after I left the Une people.

Michael pulls out a book, with the title "Stuff I need to ask the pope when i meet him" and writes something down. Jack smiles.

Thank you, and your right, I'd rather none of my several children go through that.

Michael looks up surprised

But Jack your'e only two and thirty years of age? Oh...

Jack grins and points a finger at his friend

Oh yes mate, I was not a good child.

Vune laughs

I only have one daughter, despite being centuries older then you. Well i suppose the Une count as my children too, even if i did screw up making them. I blame Tamamo for that though-pretty sure she sabatoged me, though perhaps that's my pride talking. Which reminds me, when you meet the Plun, they won't let you in, they are very reclusive. But, if you tell them you are friends of my family, they should let you in. My sister and I did many favors for them.

She nods

Just so you know ahead of time-not all of the Plun people are humans. There are 2 other races on that island-well I suppose 3 technically. Other then that 3rd race, the other 2 were not created by mages. Or if they were, they were created long before the mages guild existed, so its rather unlikely. The humans on their land make up about a third of the population, or half if you wish to be technical. You will understand when you meet them. Actually I could use some stuff from them, so ill hang around a bit. Feel free to ask my any questions about anything. Very few know as much as I do.

The first thing they notice about the island is that a massive wall is all around it, with nearly a dozen forts, and within moments hundreds of cannons are aimed at their ships, and they are told to leave or die. Vune gets up, and with a bit of magic shouts that it's her and some friends, and a moment later a large gate is opened to allow the ships to dock. They state however that only one ship-the smallest may enter, the rest must stay out. Vune sighs as she says to Jack

These people-so paranoid. Anyway the smallest ship is Brian's Brig.
But you know, I can't blame them being paranoid though-what with their neighbors being the damn dirty Dag.

The Dag woman looks mad and moves to attack, but is quickly knocked out by vune with a spell. She straightens her robes and nods to Jack

The Dag are such violent people.

She hops aboard the Brig, Brian calls to Jack

You wanna take over the helm? Or just let me sail us in.

Jack jumps on board wearing his best clothes and a boat cloak. he grasps the wheel

Aye, I'd be happy too.

Jack steers the vessel towards the gate, sometimes giving some orders to put up more sail or less.

As they sail past the gate, they see quite a few cannons mounted along the harbor, and they notice in the water swimming beside their ship are quite a few aquatic like people with weapons. Vune gestures to them.

Those are some merfolk. I think they are of the Shark tribe if I remember correctly.

On the harbor quite a few cat like people have bows drawn and ready to fire and Vune gestures to them

Netar people. Pretty friendly honestly, very good archers.

Some humans stand at the cannons as up above winged men fly about, for a moment people think they are angels until Vune corrects them and points out the lack of halos, and no holy aura.

They are not angels, they are humans-just ones with wings. Me and my sister figured out how to make men fly-though there are some drawbacks. Like i said-2 of the non-human races are natural-the third was altered with magic. Each side has a elected leader, and those 3 leaders form the Triad-who govern the island and its people. I honestly love this place.

A spot on the harbor is open as 3 individuals wait to meet with Jack and Vune.
