Zephyra just points south

Did you forget the Sev's we met back there TOLD us that the dag were raiders and attackers? And that the Une were friendly but weird? If the Une are lying then so are the Sevs. And in case you forgot, we didn't know they even HAD prisoners in the first place until we asked for help and they GAVE one to us. If they were the bad guys and wanted to deceive us they would have just told us to leave without mentioning the prisoners.

Vune's laughter can be heard as she walks up to Jack

The Une raiding that's hilarious, oh I wish.

she quickly zaps the Dag woman, then Jack. In a flash Jack is seeing through her memories- her and a ship full of other men and woman armed are landing on the Une island-their captain shouts to take what you can and kill whoever gets in your way-and it ends when she gets webbed up. Back in the present Vune just laughs some more


I made the Une people myself. I wanted them to be violent and aggressive-I failed miserably. The buggers are super nice and friendly unless provoked.

Vune just laughs some more as he leaves. She takes the black mask back and whispers to her daughter

Just between us, while I do not like being near the Une, I don't regret making them-sure I messed up making them and they turned out wrong, but its hard to hate your own creations. And if he thinks the Une are nasty, he will really hate the Dag.

Before she leaves she takes a look at the Dag woman, thinks for a moment and zaps her, erasing the last week of her memory and knocking her out. She turns to Zephyra

There. Now she doesn't remember the trauma she went through-she also will think you guys are her friends-otherwise her being a Dag, she would be trying to kill you. Consider that the payment for getting my mask back. I also had other rewards I was going to give, but since Jack want's to insult my creations, he can do without. Shame too, had something that would have prevented a lot of death for his men against what's about to come up.

Having finished her business she leaves. Zephyra sighs and just sits down and begins reading to relax.

Jack comes back from the cabin, looking angry at something. He calls:

Lieutenant, we will have an hour's exercise at the guns as we sail along, starboard battery if you please.

the lieutenant calls out;

Hands to quarters!

The bosun's shrill pipe sounds out and drums beat, the men go about as if for battle, the decks are cleared, men run about and the officers bark orders. jack looks to Zephyra.

If you've your timid to loud noises then I suggest you cover up your ears.

the prisoner is moved to a safe location, and Elizabeth and william come out on deck to witness the event.

Im no stranger to loud sounds. Mages tend to learn to get used to them pretty quick. Go ahead and practice.

She just continues reading her book, after moving to a corner out of the way of the sailors.

the guns bang out in rapid succession, smoke covers the ship, jack breathes it in and smiles. William covers his ears and appears to dislike it very much, and Elizabeth appears to be enjoying it almost as much as jack. an hour later, jack gets the report from the gunner and smiles

Very good, very good, let all men at their ease now

The men go about their usual business and jack looks at the ships behind him.

The ships are following as ordered, Brian's Brig being the closest. The rear ships being the 2 English frigates. They ask if Jack wants to continue straight west or go north or south at all. Zephyra shouts to him as well.

The Dag woman might be able to tell us where her people are-and where the Plun live. You can ask her and decide where to go next from there. Just remember that the Dag are hostile and the Plun like to be alone. Id recommend visiting the Plun first-worst case scenario they tell us to leave.

If she no longer thinks she is a dag, what does she think she is
