Jack nods

We'll go to the Larboard path then.

They reach a nice looking spring, surrounded by various fruit trees, some of which they havn't seen before. The natives points to them

You may wish to take some fruit with you. We have plenty so help yourselves. Also, don't bathe or go into the spring-we use it for drinking-and punishment for going into it is a severe beating.

Jack looks around at the spring, smiling

This is lovely.

Jack's son William looks around at and takes a fruit off a tree and bits into it.

This tastes like bread!

Zephyra grabs some fruit and tries different types. Brian and Carl both sit near the spring and drink. It tastes surprisingly sweet, and is very cool and refreshing. Zephyra tries some and looks to the native.

This water isn't normal is it?

He nods.

Yes, I do not know what exactly Solberg and Jessica did, but they made this spring. Honestly those 2 made most of the things on this island. The fruit, the plants, the buildings, we just sort of moved in when they told us we could. But further west, where the other nations are, they are not as lucky-there lands are far more dangerous and less bountiful-we often need to fight them back when they try to come here. Thankfully we have many defenses thanks to Solberg. Doesn't stop them from trying though, only the Une leave us alone. They are weird, but nice. So long as you don't try to steal any of their masks.

Jack grabs some of the fruit and puts it in his pocket, then sits down. They sit for awhile and enjoy the view then jack says:

I believe we're finished here and that is, we are finished upn this island. Thank you for being so hospitable.

The native nods

Your quite welcome. The Une people are also friendly-just don't take any masks there without permission. After that the other nations are either unwelcoming or outright hostile. Be careful.

Zephyra nods as she takes another look at the mountains.

I need to remember to come back here sometime with a few friends to check out that lair. Mother keeps nagging me about finding my own lair and moving out of hers, and to be honest im far too lazy and unskilled to make one-at least make a good one.

The native shrugs

Yeah if you clear the defenses and let us see whats in it, im sure the chief will let you move in. Will be nice having a mage living nearby again.

Zephyra turns to Jack

Ill be waiting back on the ship. We should visit the Une people next. Northwest from here.

Jack turns to the native

Would your chief mind if we left one of our priests here?

He nods

He won't mind. Jessica was a priestess and she was a local hero-so we are pretty friendly to most religious indiviuals. You can pick him up if you want on your way back if he wishes to go. Have a safe trip.

Brian and Carl prepare their ship, and are ready to sail. Zephyra goes back to the crows nest.
