Lana's comments don't get better over time. Just as history repeats itself, Lana's mouth continues to spew out a rhetoric so condescending and one-sided I've begun to wonder if this nurse needs to be checked into the hospital...

So, you mean, if you survived your "sticks and stone" childhood, it gives you the right to bully kids on forum?

No ...... it means that this "kid" ..... if that is what he is ...... is not the one complaining at all about it. The supposed grown ups are the ones complaining. It also means that the only one taking this as bullying is the supposed grown ups.

Listen.... I am old enough that i have grandchildren in primary school. I see it everyday that we as a society "Over" protect. We are at the extremes on both sides. The bullying has gotten 10-fold worse than when I was a kid ..... and the protection mentality has gone extreme to the other direction.

Hence, kids reactions are to the extremes as well. On one side they resort to violence, on the other they do not develop the social or emotional skills to deal with society and the real world as adults.

Studies have shown that an over protective approach is just as damaging as any bullying.






And trust me.... Dez comment is mild compared to some of the comments made by this "kid".

Explains the hyper-sensitivity then. You have grown up in an overprotective..... as well as hyper sensitive society and I apologize for that.

Something happened between my generation and yours. We became over-emotional on both sides of this subject and this conversation is the result.
