Howard turns to George and shouts.

George, take Groups 1 and 2 and raid the mines. I will lead groups 3-6 to the mansion.

George nods and quickly begins moving toward the mines. Howard looks to the mansion and see's the guards there have barricaded the doors, and are manning the windows. He grunts knowing it might be messy breaking in but he steps forward and in his most intimidating voice shouts.

If those of you in the mansion drop your weapons, open the doors and leave, none of you will be harmed in any way. The governor and his family will also be unharmed. But we will take everything valuable. The alternative, is you stay in there and fight-we kill you all, and we take everything valuable. The choice, is yours. Choose wisely, and fast. Several more pirate crews are coming, many more ruthless and cruel then me.

A commotion is heard inside the manor, until finally the doors swing open and the guards and governor come out, with their hands raised. Howard smiles as he has one group watch them as the rest begin looting the place. George makes it to the mines and begins gathering anything valuable.

Jack leaves the rest of the fort to whitebeard's powerful ships. He lands and he and his men leap out, waving cutlassses above their heads. Jack and some men begin to loot the noble homes, grinning as they reach into chests and find tons of gold. Jack with greed in his eyes, picks up some jewels from a lady's drawer while the family cowers in the corner. They run to the church, for thet will be safest there. Jack and his men take every single ounce of gold they can find without firing a shot.

no I did not. Howard told George to take 2 groups of his men to the mines. He then said that He would lead the other groups.

"I will lead groups 3-6 to the mansion"

No where in my post did it seem like I said the group was leading anything. The group is what is being led.

Before the raid even began Howard and George discussed tactics and the plan with their crew. The basic plan was to split the crew into several groups-similar to how a platoon would divide into squads.

oh lol. You know you should probably address who your talking to when discussing these things. Since I also used lead and groups in my post I assumed you were talking to me.

Howard and his group, having filled bags full of loot, begin moving back toward their brig. Howard stops by the nearby guards who surrendered and shouts to them.

You men grab whatever we couldn't carry and haul it to the brig.

The men look confused as one shouts.

Why the hell would we help you loot out city?

Howard just shouts

Because if you don't then me and my men will have to come back up here and make a second trip. You want us gone right? sooner we get all of this stuff the sooner we leave and the sooner you can change your trousers and go about your business. Now do you want us to be here all night, or to see us gone asap? And ill leave a nice little chest of gold for you men to split up. Now get to work.

The guards begrudginly begin helping carry the loot as Howard leads them back to the brig. Greg is back there having looted the mines and is now beginning to march to help loot the remaining noble houses.

As the loot continues to get loaded George leans in and whispers in Howards ear.

Can we leave a nice chest of gold to the local orphanage.

Howard whispers back.

Sure- got enough loot that dropping off a chest of gold won't hurt our profit hardly at all. Keep this between us though. The other crews might not like us being a wee bit generous with the loot.

George nods as during the looting he manages to drop a nice chest of gold into a nearby orphanage. The 2 then oversee the loading of the remainder into their brig. Howard whispers to George.

Well, do you think the donation to the orphanage will balance out the raid?

George thinks and nods.

Id say so. To be safe I suggest we take another portion of gold later and donate to another one. Just to make sure karma won't come along and bite us.
