I know their has been prior discussion on a live map, and the feasibility of implementing such a thing under the current system.

I have a slightly different suggestion however.

Would it be possible to have the map show for example a straight black line between ports you currently have ships going between, not interactive, or with an image of the ship travelling or anything,just a straight line, So maybe black for normal ships and red for automatic trade routes?

It would mean at a glance, you can see what ships you have traveling between which ports, without going back over and checking each fleet?
