the priest points at the demons who are taunting, calling them by name, as he does this, they wail in pain. Jack cuts down one.

As the last of the chained demons are cut down the ones on the other side suddenly look both very scared, but also somewhat happy as they quickly leave the portal. Ellen is confused at first until she and everyone else feel's a sudden deep chill in their guts, as a few giant fingers come out of the portal and begin trying to tear it open. Ellen flies forward in panic as she begins smashing one of the crystals that make the portal as she turns to the others shouting.

Smash the crystals and smash them fast. That's Asmodeus, one of the princes of hells, and we do NOT want him getting on this side.

Agnar, quickly smashes a crystal, as do his friends, Brian and Carl smash one as well, the portal shimmers but its slowly getting torn open, Ellen looks to all the dozens of crystals left, and curses going as fast as she can.

The last of the crystals are destroyed, but as the portal tries to close Asmodeus holds it open as he begins trying to spread it further, a giant hellish eye appears on the other side as he looks in, causing some of the men to soil themselves, Ellen quickly smashes her Morningstar into his eye with all her might while shouting a prayer, it causes him to reel back, as his fingers lose their grip before Emily blasts his hands back in, and the portal closes. Ellen shimmers a bit and begins to fade.

I need some rest. That last attack I made took most of my energy. Be careful in there.

Emily nods as she looks into the giant gates of the castle. She looks to the others and shouts.

Rest up and heal if needed, also those of you who soiled yourselves, change.

jack glowers at the men who soiled themselves.

Jack looks to Emily

Emily just points back to the canoes,

The apprentice left dry clothes back there remember? Should be several clean pairs left. Also, to be fair, Asmodeus is terrifying-most men would crap themselves if they saw him staring at you.

More funny then annoying to me. I mean its not like we need to change clothes.

With everything finished they begin to head to the door when it just swings open. In the room ahead, Rhena sits on a chair, with 2 robed figures on her sides. Rhena just looks to the group before asking while smiling.

So, any particular reason you came here? I don't get many visitors way down here past all my traps and guards. Also good job on keeping Asmodeus out. I was almost worried i would need to help you.

Emily looks into the room scanning around, suspiciously, and does not enter. Rhena just chuckles.

Paranoid huh? I would be too. Crazy to rush into a mages lair. But again I must ask, what brings you all here?

Jack goes beside Emily, not sure what to go or say.

Rhena just laughs.

Jeez, you all come all this way, slaughter my guards make a mess and now just stand at my door awkwardly? You can come in if you want. I won't bite. Or you can just stay outside my door, though I must ask, why do you trespass on my home?

And also, why did you fools go and destroy my hordes of beasts before they could finish their work? It would have been such a glorious success if it worked.
