Jack sits near to the fire, still shivering. The priest takes his heavy saber and begins to clean it. Jacks men just talk among themselves.

Emily polishes the mask Vune gave her, as Brian calls to her.

Didn't you say you were going to try to talk to those lizard-men to get them on our side. I take it they refused.

Emily calls back.

A few i managed to get to work for me and the guild, a few stayed loyal to Rhena, while most went off somewhere deciding not to take sides. Honestly its the third group that worries me, but that's a potential problem for later.

Emily finally finishes polishing the mask and puts it back on, the crack having been fixed. Ellen comes back, and describes the path with the least resistance. The 2 sisters wait for the rest to dry up, before moving on.

Jack and his men are ready.

Emily hands Ellen her Morningstar as she brandishes her knife. Ellen turns to Jack

We need to head down the left side of the path as fast as possible, let the others handle the normal guards, while me and you kill the demons. There are some traps on the left side, but I think I removed most of them. But still move fast and watch out.

Ellen flies forward, Emily right behind her as Carl, Brian, Agnar and his 2 men fight any creatures along the way. The archer striking many from afar quickly and efficiently, while Agnar uses his runes to blow some away.

Jack goes down the left side, the priest follows.

The golem manages to reform, but this time it has several cracks on it, the golem points its hand at the archers and start to fire a beam of electric energy, tearing through the wall

The group manage to fight their way to the portal and the demons around it, noticing chains on them. The biggest demon comes forward and shouts smiling.

Now hold on. You all wish Rhena dead do you not? That wretched woman dragged us here, and chained us like guard dogs. Break the chains, and we will go and kill her for our revenge, and you all may go home.

Ellen scoffs

Do you really think you could trick a Nun AND a priest like this? We break those chains and you won't stop at killing just Rhena.

The demon shrugs as it continues smiling.

Was worth a try.

The demons begin attacking, though the chains keep them from moving too far from the portal.

[Meliva]

The archer ducks under the blast, as it hits the cave walls and shouts.

You stupid pile of rocks im on your side.

Brian and Carl laugh at the fact as they continue fighting the evil creations, with the archer watching the golem carefully as he continues firing.

jack draws his sword. The priest looks to Ellen

Can we banish them? Or must we kill their bodie?

[Meliva]

Ellen smashes one of the demons and just nods.

Destroy the bodies. Then once we do that, we smash their portal to keep more from showing up. If we destroy the portal first, then those chains go with it, and they will run and spread havoc.

The portal just glows, a few demons watch from the other side, but do not cross, knowing that if they do, they will be bound like the others with chains. Though they taunt the priest and others to smash the portal first.
