Vune and Emily get up and go into a back room, Emily comes out wearing Vune's cracked mask as she begins heading to the passage into Rhena's lair. Brian and Carl follow behind as they wait at the entrance to the tunnel for the others.

Emily begins leading the group into the tunnel, it goes on for quite some time before emerging into a rather large cavern. Smashed bits of crystal line the floor, along with scorch marks and a few piles of rubble. Further down the cavern lies a few cystal pillars, and a few large golems. A nearby robed figure who was hiding nearby stands up and calls to the group.

You should be able to sneak past those defenses if your careful, though you won't be able to bring that cannon with you if you decide to sneak, and you will need to make sure you don't try to move too many men too fast. Just try to follow the path where the most crystals lie on the floor, keep your head down and move fast. And now that i delivered that message, I'm going to head out now, there should be a few more apprentices deeper in to help out.

The mage quickly goes back up the tunnel as Emily turns to the others.

I think we should sneak past, and ditch the cannon. Magic defenses can be brutal.

Emily begins carefully following the path, telling everyone to follow in single file. A few times it looks like a crystal pillar is about to activate or a golem is approaching, but they all manage to slip by this outer defenses. They end up in another cavern, where another apprentice greets them. The path ahead is littered with more crystals and more piles of rubble. The apprentice quickly speaks.

We were not able to make a clear path through this area, well we did, but it got partially restored while you were coming. Your best bet it to try to rush fast and quickly through the center, that's where the defenses are weakest. If your fast you won't get hit too much. You should hurry though, more may come if your slow.

Emily nods as she quickly grabs Brian and Carl and quickly puts a barrier around them. The trio prepare to rush forward, before darting full speed, a few blasts whiz by, a few hit them, and a few explosions happen as they quickly manage to get to the other side. The defenses power down as the 3 wait for the others.
