Sorry moppet, damn thing seems attached to you, I couldn't keep it for myself. I suggest you just use it to your advantage. Who knows, maybe some extremely powerful being sent it as a gift for you. It certainly isn't demonic, so I think its safe to use. And well, your ALREADY dead moppet, so what's the worst that can happen.

Emily sighs as she looks to the trident.

Sure. Why not. Really getting annoyed with these visions. If this keeps up I' might start having trouble telling what is and isn't real. I need a bloody vacation. Vune, I know your not supposed to help, but please, we could really use help for this. Is there any way you can do something.

Vune looks to Emily and just sighs

Fine. Just for you moppet. I recharged enough i think i can pull something off, and in a way that WONT violate my deal. Follow me.

As they near the fort of the lizard-men, they begin swimming out preparing to fight. Vune quickly raises a hand as the water quickly parts around the fort, forming giant ice walls, as the fort is now on dry land. She turns to the others.

There. Now they have to fight on your turf. It will be much easier to beat them now.

The ice begins to crack as lizard men on the outside begin trying to break through it.

You need to hurry though. Didn't have enough strength to make a very strong barrier. If your not finished before they break through, you will probably get slaughtered.

The lizards trapped in the dry fort seal the doors and prepare for battle, Vune leaves while Emily goes forward with the trident.

Jack and his men draw their swords.

Emily smiles as now that she's no longer underwater she can finally do one of the things she does best. With her right hand on the trident she raises her left hand firing a fireball into the fort gate, blasting it open. She notices the heat from it seems to be weakening the ice and decides to resort to using the trident now that the door is open. She rushes forward, the lizardmen quickly forming a phalanx at the gate, while javelin throwers launch their attacks from the walls.

The men, who had brought their muskets for the use of the bayonets, load them and fire them in volleys at the phalanx, killing a great deal of enemies.

those muskets would be useless Jack in firing, they were underwater for quite some time, so any gunpowder they had would be ruined, and even if the gunpowder was kept dry somehow, putting it into a musket that was covered in water would quickly ruin it before it could actually fire.

The trident glows and re-ices the barrier constantly. It seems to be resorting to the timelapse that barrier was at its peak strength and keeps the ice in the paradox. The guns also seem to keep dry from the relapsing in time from the ice barrier’s paradox and is affecting the weapons as if they never touched water.

[Jack Teach]

Ok. But you have cut down a mast with one shot from a twelve pounder. I don't mean to be rude, but I think a little bit of license would be ok one on awhile considering what others have done. Is that fair?

All the lizardmen on the outside of the barrier quickly swim away, as the ones inside wave them goodbye. A few shout.

We may fall, but our kind will live on. One day we shall claim these lands for ourselves, as Lady Rhena has promised them to us.

The lizardmen, with renewed determination fully commit themselves to what they know shall be their final battle. Emily can't help but admire their determination and commitment, she almost feels bad she has to kill them. She makes a mental note however to try to find the others and maybe see about befriending them. She quickly begins thinking of the advantages of such allies and giggles to herself. But for now, it is time to fight. The phalanx quickly moves forward, while javelin tossers continue attacking from the back. A small group remains at the gate, holding a spear and shield wall, to keep their ranged attackers safe from melee.

Well since he solved it that's fair. I was going to say that perhaps Emily would use her fire to dry them out but that saves me some trouble.

Jack's men begin to fire volleys at the lizard men, killing many.
