Jack's ship raise St. Kitts Nevis flag, the enemy ships are out of earshot. Jack calls:

Got it! Do me a favor though: get that little vessel away from us, this is'nt going to be pretty and a little vessel such as that could not possibly survive this. Unless...just stay away from the fight.

Jack's ship tacks toward the oncoming vessels, hailing them, whilst the men below prepare to fight the enemy vessels.

Brian and Carl have their cutter quickly sail a good distance away, though they stay close enough to see what happens through a spyglass

Jack's vessel sails towards the enemies, the guns are run out, the unsuspecting navy sailors scramble away from the sides, but it's too late. Bursts of smoke and fire spit from the frigate, knocking down the mizzenmast. The frigate then sails behind the enemy, raking her and bringing down her mainmast. they get one off, but then, a final broadside sends her colors down. The brig surrenders without a fight.

Carl looks to Brian confused as he speaks

Uh, why did Jack attack them anyway?

Brian just puts his head in his hands and sighs before responding.

I seriously hope he didn't do that just to take gold and ships. I don't mind him pirating around, but we really have better things to be doing right now. If the other ports are going to get something as bad as those slimes we really shouldn't waste time attacking merchants.

Jack takes the commodore's sword and sends the ships off with the prize crew. Jack's ship sails over.

Those were naval vessels, they were going to attack us, I just decided to attack them first.

Brian shrugs, though he does think they could have talked them down-especially if they warned them of the attacks coming. But the 2 men just go on to Regis. Once there they notice the port is currently on fire, people and guards are scrabmling about trying to put the fires out, while trying to slay large roach like bugs. By the time the group enters the port the bugs are all dead, and the fires are nearly put out. A guard comes over to them looking exhausted as he speaks to them. Many of the people look ill and are coughing.

So long as you don't cause trouble you can stay, but id leave if I were you. We got a bug problem. And a very big bug problem at that.

Agnar sails to Regis, and arrives few hours after Carl and Brian

This seem much better than Vaasburg did.

A tired looking guard comes over to Agnar and Mikkel.

Hey. I'm Bill, you missed out on the action a while ago. Bloody bugs came and did some damage, lit some buildings on fire, and more and more people are getting sick. Damn things are spreading some sort of disease I think. Some of them also run up to ya, before blowing themselves up-that's how the fires started. You men need to remember to keep your guard up or you end up like Bob.

He gestures over to a outhouse, with the door open. A body is on it missing its lower half, with a look of pain and terror on his face, wearing scraps of a guard uniform covered in burn marks.. Bill shakes his head.

Bob went to use the outhouse, and a damn bug was in the hole below. Died in seconds when it ignited.

Mikkel shakes his head with a small grin on his face

I'm sorry... It just seems like ports like to keep a man, missing his lower half because a monster decided to attack him when he went out.

Agnar shrugs

Well, these bugs wont be here forever... Thanks for the warning though.

Bill nods as he walks off. A cloaked man approaches the group, It appears to be Ell of the mages guild. He quickly walks up to Agnar and hands him a ball shaped object covered in Runes along with a piece of paper. He says to Agnar rather loudly.

Here's that item you hired me to make a while ago. Just how you ordered it.

He quickly whispers to Agnar.

Throw it against the wall in the deepest part of the bug lair and run like hell. Theres a map to the lair on that paper.

Ell then begins walking away as he waves the group bye

Good doing business with you, be careful with that thing.

Ell teleports away
