Carl and Brian see them rushing, and Emily turns to them.

Whats their hurry.

Brian shrugs.

Dunno. Maybe an emergency back on Valorim?

Emily just shrugs.

You would think if it was important theyd just ask me to get them there now. Speaking of which you 2 want a ride back? What about you Agnar and Mikkel? I'm not as good at teleporting as my sister, but I can handle a group of people. Your ships will be left behind though, but I could get Veera to get them back pretty quick. Her skills in teleporting are scary honestly.

Jack calls back before leaving the tavern.

We're meeting with someone rather important, a Fleet-Admiral.

Gregory exits the tavern and begins to walk toward the docks. A unknown man approaches and walks beside Gregory.

Sir, everything....

Gregory interrupts him and pulls a small black pouch from his pocket. He opens the pouch and places the crystal from Vune inside. The pouch glows slightly as Gregory seals the pouch. He returns the pouch to his pocket and continues walking toward the docks.

Just a precaution, drawn a lot of attention recently and I don't want to take any unnecessary risks. So you were saying?

The man continues

Everything has proceeded as planned so far, just waiting on further instructions

Gregory responds.

Buy up the now vacated properties and setup the new businesses.

The man replies

Yes, sir. What about the crew?

Gregory responds.

They aren't a worry anymore. You can always count on certain people to make sure there are no survivors.

The man nods his head and replies

Anything else, sir.

Gregory pauses for a moment and responds

The crew's contact man. Clean it up. Friends, family, pets, any and all records. Absolutely no loose ends. He served his purpose.

The man acknowledges and walks away. Gregory reaches the dock, boards his ship and departs.

Agnar walks around with purses of gold, handing them to the crew.

There's a little bonus this time. Speaking of which, I forgot to give e Emily the gold. Oh well, we'll do that another time.

Mikkel nods

That makes sense. Let's get to sail though...

Vune looks to a small crystal in a small room as it darkens as she sighs.

Was rather hoping he'd use it to contact me, or at least get to use it to eavesdrop.

Sal comes in looking very worried. Vune quickly seals the door and faces her.

Lady Vune bad news, very VERY bad news. We found out who was behind that attack on the arena, it was Rhena.

Sal remembers something else and quickly adds on.

Oh yeah, and based on what info i could gather, it seems that Greg might have just wanted to take over property there.

Vune just sits down and sighs

Jeez. So much bloodshed for something so silly. Regardless, i don't think he's as bad as I thought. I mean he is bad, thats for sure, but i don't think he's "destroy everything and everyone" or "powerful but stupid" bad. Just seems like hes greedy and power hungry. But still try to keep an eye and ear on him.

Sal nods before speaking again

So, what about Rhena?

Vune thinks for a while.

Contact the other members. Tell them to move all possessions to Hall H. Rhena's rage isn't directed at us. So we will simply sit out and let others deal with the storm.

Sal nods, and quickly leaves. Vune just sighs as she looks toward a list of various names. Jack, Agnar, Greg, and several others.

Knowing what she probably has planned, I am quite glad I'm not any of you.

Meanwhile, Emily looks to Brian and Carl as she gets on their ship. She teleports them to Valorim. She gets a messages on a crystal before looking surprised and teleporting away.

And that's a good place to stop this story. Gotta love cliffhangers :D. New one will be up tomorrow. It's going to be a doozy.

Do I have to be worried about this?

If I were you I definitely would be :D. Vune is literally just going to have her and her guild hide and wait for the storm to pass-. Which means that not only is whats coming bad enough to where she believes its better to hide rather then fight even with her whole guild, but also that none of the mages will be helping anyone who does decide to fight.
