Agnar sighs

If the same as the one who killed Dow shoots you, they'll find out you can't die.

Vune nods

But the moment she gets shot, she can find the attacker and eliminate him. Ill be watching from afar, and be prepared to help. The only downside is, I do believe there are at least 2 killers, maybe more. Emily can only serve as bait once-since there is a good chance the other killers will learn she can't die when we deal with the first killer, and will avoid her from then on.

Jack does a facepalm.

That's not how God operates, God sends out his Angels or appears to give people hope. God does not work where faith doesn't exist, he doesn't appear unless asked, neither does he send out his angels unless asked by a person with true faith. And I find insulting that before this conversation you didn't even acknowledge his existence in a the matter! Yes he used words that were short of the truth, but he did not mean to say that it was only HE who did anything. But fine, you don't want to argue anymore, fine.

The priest comes back back with a boy in rags, who is gratefully tearing into some food that was given to him. He comes up to jack, asks jack for a job. Jack agrees, and the boy goes running to the ship.

Mikkel stands and picks up his roundshield which was leaned on the wall

If you deal with one of them, I can for sure deal with the other.

Vune just looks to Jack

Did I name anyone in particular when thanking you? Did I say "thank you Jack and Agnar for helping?" No I did not. its true I looked to you and the nord when I said thanks, but did I say only you 2 helped? The thanks I gave was directed to the group in general-or do you expect me to turn and face every single one of you and give thanks multiple time? Or to name each and every one of you in my thanks? Because I wont waste my time doing such a silly thing. I mean I didn't turn and face Brian or Carl and thank them, yet they aren't whining about it. No, instead your priest friend took it as an insult, and decided to claim that he got rid of the spirits. I took offense to that as I have told you-my subordinates fought and did their best in that battle, they made me proud that day. As for the whole true faith thing, as I said before-Ellen was there, and she prayed and got heavenly help as well. And do you TRULY think in an entire port there was only ONE person with true faith? The arena had quite a few priests working there, but they were staying with the citizens to protect them. Had we failed to stop the invasion, the priests in the port would have continued the fight.

Emily just sighs as she sits down.

Can we just say both sides misinterpret what the other side meant when they spoke and drop it. I feel like by the time you 2 finish arguing we won't need to worry about the killers as theyd have died of old age.

Agnar shrugs

I'm going for a stroll through the town. See y'all later.

Mikkel shouts to Agnar in pure shock

THERE'S 2 KILLERS OUT THERE, AND YOU GO ALONE?!

Agnar gestures to his sword and speaks right before leaving

Well, I got my sword.

Vune just pats Emily on the head as she speaks in a sweet voice.

Oh sweet, naïve Emily, that's one of the best methods of dealing with pesky problems. Your a lich remember sweetheart? Most of your enemies can be dealt with by just waiting a hundred years for them to die. Ive had a few enemies who, for one reason or another I couldn't beat in a direct fight, so I just go in a hidden lair with a bunch of books, wait a hundred years or so and go dance on their graves. But since you asked ill stop the argument.

She picks up the book again and starts reading, Emily just thinks about what she was just told.

Huh. Good point.

Vune just says to Mikkel

Its daytime now, the port will be active, so its unlikely he will be attacked.

Mikkel sighs

A quick shot or throw from a dark alley can end him... I just hope he's aware of the danger ...

Jack grins

Poor bugger. The man that gets caught in the way of that man's sword is a dead one, unless that man is me.
