You really think a little blood will bother me? Quite a lot of rituals involve the stuff, and its important to tell how good the blood is-best way is to taste it in my opinion. You should try virgin blood some time, stuff is sweet like wine. And as I said- my friend Dow LITERALLY told you before she headed out to help them. Neither you, nor the priest, nor Agnar or Mikkel did-I find it hard to believe all 4 of you forgot to help them when you were reminded about it-you must really not think much of them to forget that fast. But I digress, the killer in this port seems pretty interesting. The other mages don't care, but id like to see how he keeps evading the guards. I think it might be magical, or maybe he's just skilled. Might be a monster.

Brian and Carl just sigh before they speak.

We forgive you guys for it, just don't let this happen again. Otherwise ill start to think Veera is right about us not mattering to you lot. Regardless we should start working on finding the killer.

Jack flashes a wicked grin, a bit of blood showing on his teeth, he returns Veera's stare

Never heard about any serial killers around here...

Veera just laughs as she puts some of the blood into a vial.

I'm an evil witch. Being perverted isn't an insult to me. Hell it comes in handy for luring gullible men into doing what I want. And you know, I can think of a few things I can do with this blood you so generously gave me. Perhaps a curse on your entire bloodline? Or maybe I can use it to make a magic clone of you, to go and slaughter innocent women and children and ruin your name. I'm sure I can think of something with this.

Veera waves at him as she teleports away. Brian sighs as he turns to Jack.

A 3 million gold bounty is on whoever or whatever is killing the locals. Also, we might want to go ask Emily to get that blood away from Veera when we get back to Valorim. Id hate to see what she might come up with, that woman is an expert on curses and hexes.

I'm a bloody pirate, I think my reputation is already quite bad already.

Fr. O'Conner laughs

Don't worry about her, there is not a curse than can not be broken, though a clone is possible.

Brian looks a bit worried though as he speaks to Jack.

Your reputation is bad, but its not children and women killing bad. Not to mention the fact that even if you don't care about your reputation, id rather not think about a bunch of children getting slaughtered.

Agnar shakes his head

Ya'll sure it's a male killer? Heard of one around the nord. She was never caught and only seen once.

Mikkel takes a step back

Wait, these are talking about murdering children, and you're on about the serial killer, Agnar? Which is worse?!

Agnar doesn't think for long

Remember your brother, Mikkel? The serial killer might be the worst here...

Brian just shrugs.

Both are bad, but honestly, at the moment the killer here is killing now-Veera hasn't done anything with the blood yet. She might just be saying things to get under our skin honestly. She's a notorious liar, She once told a woman she would give her a curse to cause her to die a horrible death-that woman became paranoid, jumping at every shadow, and after a while she was driven mad. Only for Veera to tell her she never cursed her. But ill ask Emily to talk to her and make sure she doesn't do anything.

As for the serial killer here, not much is known about them period. Don't know if its a man or woman, or if its even human. Hell it might not just be one killer, maybe its a group of assassins. At the moment we know next to nothing.

If you should happen to investigate a murder scene, look out for their back. If there are carved 2 numbers under each other, where the bottom one is higher than the other number... Well, then we need good luck.

Jack nods to Brian

Aye, true. She'd have to teach this clone sailing, uncluding every yard and every sail there is, she'd have to teach it swordfighting, she'd also have to somehow embed religion in it, and she'd have to raise it a certain way. I know all that I know and act they way I act because I was raised a certain way. Unless she can just make a copy of me and immediately make it evil, and even then it still has to be taught things...

a voice is heard laughing as Dow waves at them. Surprisingly no one had noticed her.

You don't need to worry about Veera making a clone of you. Out of the whole guild she is quite literally the worst at creating anything. She would have to get one of the others in the guild to do it if she wanted to make the clone, and honestly the only 2 who would be capable would be Sal, who hates her, and Emily, who probably wouldn't do it.

She thinks for a moment before speaking again.

Actually Ell, might be able to do it, and he does rather like her, so you might have to worry after all. And Vune definitely could do it, but I'm not sure if she would either.

She looks upset all of a sudden as she curses.

God, freaking damn it, Veera is my ride, why does she keep leaving without me. Oh well. Also as for needing to teach the clone things, its possible to just copy your memories and plant it in it, while altering them in such a way to make it evil.
