Jack shakes his head in disgust, the priest wonders whether or not it'd be proper to save the man.

Veera just looks to Jack and the priest before pointing at the booze and replying.

The man brought it on himself. If you drink yourself into a stupor you deserve whatever you get. That's why I bloody tell all my students not to drink booze-or at least be moderate in it-do you guys have any idea how dangerous a drunk witch or wizard is? I had one student who got drunk blow up an entire tavern-that was really bad for business.

Veera goes back to watching the armor,

Jack grimaces

I'm pretty sure that's just a drunk sailor.

Veera just nods as she remarks.

Probably. But anyone who drinks so much they pass out deserve what they get. If you want to drink yourself to a stupor and stay safe do so at home. Going out like he did is asking for trouble-especially with witches around. Drunks are the most common test subjects witches and wizards use-its really easy getting them to a lair and chaining them up, and usually no one will miss them. I personally know quite a few who use them quite a lot, including a few students of mine.

The priest stands up. His face is 100 percent focused on Veera's. His eyes are filled with anger, righteous anger.

He may deserve, to get his pockets picked, or perhaps his clothes stolen, but not raped or used as some kind of test subject for a group of sick women with a fetish for mutilation and murder. What exactly will happen to the man?

Veera just laughs.

Aww, how cute the priest is angry. Though I must say, you have quite the filthy mind, who ever said anything about that man getting raped? Or used as a test subject? I merely stated what typically happens to drunks.

The men will only tar and feather him, but again you really have quite the dirty mind, do you often imagine men engaging in such actions? Why don't we head to the church and you can confess your secret desires to me. I won't judge you based on your preferences.

Veera starts to get bored as she continues watching the armor, the burly men come back down with a now feathered Eric, before setting him back down. Veera nods to them and they go to a seat in the corner.

The priest shrugs, he even smiles a little, laughing to himself at how silly of an assumption

No. I hear confessions, and from these confessions I hear every single type of evil imaginable, so yes my mind may jump to some rather nasty and evil conclusions. Would you expect a man who casts out demons to be a deviant? If so, you haven't done much research my dear.

The priest looks to jack, attempting to stifle his laughter. jack is currently giggling and begins to laugh, tears streaming down his face.

Veera looks a bit sad before replying.

I know far more then you if you truly believe that. I have met many men who wore the cloth and were deviants. Ask Leonard some time about all the fun times Father John had with the local altar boys. Well before they came to me, and asked me to put an end to him. Thats what sparked the raid on my lair even. Or perhaps you would like to know about Father Yung, who had an affair with several wives here in port. Or father Quinn, who had over 20 dead bodies of local whores in his cellar. That's the difference between me and many other evil people. I don't try to pretend im good, nor do i hide what i do or delude myself into thinking im good. I am a evil woman, with a lot of hatred in me, but at least im honest about it and don't deny who i am. While people like the 3 men i mentioned will stand upon a stage and preach goodness, only to go home and commit evil. hypocritical fools the lot of them.

The priest nods

Aye, your correct, there are men of the cloth who ar very evil. However, no man who is truly evil can cast out demons in the name of Christ. I've seen many evil men attempt it, and they all fail, every time. This is why I call your claim unresearched my dear. Only a good man can do such things. I've had much experience in the realm of evil, I see it everyday. There is no evil I've never experienced.

Veera just laughs.

Do you really think that there exists only one way to cast out demons? Anyone with a bit of knowledge can do it, evil or not. Hell i straight up know of a potion that can do it. Just mix some holy water, with some rosemary and a bit of wine, and force it down their throat.

Now i will admit that an evil person can't make their own holy water-I've tried extensively to do so but have yet to succeed, but its easy enough to get a priest to make it or buy some. I keep several bottles of it in my lair and on me in case a student does something stupid and get's possessed.
