RP- A big leap back.

[Meliva]

The door opens and 2 men are currently inside the cabin. Both look to be about in their mid thirties. The one who opened the door asks in a rather polite tone.

Something you need? I'm first lieutenant Larry, and he's Captain Chad. You reporting for duty?

[Jack Teach]

The midshipman goes taught. He salutes by touching the rim of his hat extremely quickly, then his hand goes behind him to meet its friend.

Captain chad nods as he speaks

Ah good to have you. Once quartermaster Leonard reports that everything is loaded we can head out.

As if on cue Leonard shows up and speaks.

Everything is loaded, just give the word.

Chad nods.

Alright then, let's shove off. Larry take the route i told you and check it out. I have some work i need to do in my cabin, but ill come up soon. Leonard, i need to speak to you for a bit.

Leonard nods as he enters, and Larry exits closing the door. He nods to Jack.

Alright then, time we get to work.

Larry goes and issues the orders and the ship begins to sail out of port.

[Jack Teach]

Since jack has no current orders he goes to the side rail. He watches the harbor as it gets further away, he then turns to the sea and smiles.

Leonard comes back up to the deck and goes to Jack

Captain says he wants you to go and help keep lookout for any ships. Ill be at the helm.

Leonard makes his way to the helm, while Larry lets him take over navigation while he goes about overseeing all the men.

[Jack Teach]

Jack nods and goes and climbs up the rigging of the mainmast into the fighting top. He begins to scan for ships, he sees nothing.

[Zephore]

The young boy is keeping an eye on the ships anxiously looking at his sword, still mumbling to himself

Guess someone would pay to get that information...

he stands up and goes towards the square

The sun is beginning to set, after a long day of sailing, Leonard calls up to Jack.

Hey mate, come down and eat, then you can head to bed. We be in luck, since this is only meant to be a short 3-4 day patrol we got some food that is actually half decent, a bit of meat, some biscuits and fresh fruit.

[Jack Teach]

Jack looks some more than yells.

Sail ho! 3 points of the Larboard bow. She's a frigate with...42 guns, she's got some carronades as well.. I think.

[Meliva]

The ship signals that they are a French navy vessel looking for potential pirates nearby. Larry orders Leonard and a few others to row over and check them out. After a while Leonard comes back and confirms that they are indeed French navy, and that they havn't seen any pirates to the east. Larry nods and decides to search west then. The French ship sails back east. Leonard calls back up to Jack.

Come on down and get your meal. Jimmy will take over lookout duties. Pretty rare honestly to find pirates in a day, hell maybe if we are lucky we won't find any. But 2 more days of sailing until we can call our job done. After your done eating the captain want's to see you, its really urgent, so eat fast and rush off.
