The first scenario>

We, five or six comrades, want to regain the glory of the lost state. We are already stationed in several other countries and some of us are sailing under the pirate flag. We have enough influence (in our present countries) and if no one tries to diminish it, it will be a good legacy for the future actions.
Our plan is simple: Punish the filthy privateers who destroyed our glorious state, grab them all influence they have, and restore with glory and pride all what we (our predecessors) were lost.
Our goal is rightful, we fight the holy war, and no one can say otherwise.
But to win, we need to be sneaky little bastards...or just bastards... nope... that will be just one (or two maybe) of us, to take this role, it's no big deal, he already gained that title.
So, he will proclaim his right to take the port of those who ruined empire last time. He will fight for it with might and main. He will be just like David against Goliath… he will gain respect of all Avonmora.
In the meantime, we (5-6 comrades), we will do a dirty job ... No one will know our real goal… yep, after first phase of the war is finished and our lost state have the new king (our rightful king), we will return with all our influence we spend on other countries and we will rise our empire from the ashes.

The second scenario>

We just have a business deal with that guy, he will show that filthy king of privateers who is the real king and soon afterwards he will join our kingdom (Not the first time that happened in Avonmora). So, we will have another port in our possession and…
