Surprise they just came out of nowhere? Come on? I stated that the large frigates were far outside of direct fire range and stated that the two escort frigates moved toward the area of action. How do this skirt all of that and not be seen. Hey look a MoW that was hidden behind the two large frigates turns toward the the two frigates firing on the large frigates. The MoW and Large Frigates fire with devastating accuracy and lay mortar fire on the frigates disabling them and causing them to sink to the bottom. See I can make outrageous situations as well.

But honestly, seeing as how that is more flavor text and not really impactful on the story, I find it fine. Besides it really is pretty neat seeing that honestly.Weighted pulley system, it would only need to be cut at the tie down point. The weight at the Spanish flag would fall bringing the flag with it and the hidden Jolly Roger would rise without any effort by the pirates.
To be honest I only intended on the sloop of war and the two frigates conduct battle. The two large frigates would only fire to even the odds or if ships got close, but would and will likely roll out once the mortar fire is over. You guys kept pushing more and more ships into the situation. A Pirate would just run against such odds. Had to make it worth fighting.
Yeah sorry about that. Sometimes things begin to escalate and i tend to forget to try to STOP the escalation and try to descelate things. Also good point about the pulley system. I stil think it seems a bit unlikely they had this set up well before hand, but again, i like the addition and really don't mind if its unlikely. Definately not the most unlikely thing that happened so far.
The frigates moved over to fire on a them, there was no appearance out of no where I assure you. I meant that they sailed towards the enemies coming towards the fleet, the escort frigates. I'll change it presently, I didn't at first realize that the mortar frigates had anything in front of them, please forgive me it was a mistake
Note: I'm not providing what damage I inflicted or what damage you inflicted. Be realistic. I'm just running the part of the pirates in the story,
to make it interesting.
Realistic.
Of course of course.
