Role Play- A Plague in Psaral.

[Jack Teach]

Jack and his men rush upstairs, wielding their weapons. Jack rushes into the fray, he engages several enemies, his bloodstained cutlass singing through the air, and then a thud and a scream as he hacks with expert skill. His men follow suit, fighting like demons.

[DezNutz]

Gregory lights the gunpowder and runs up to fight with Carl. The fort shakes violently as a massive explosion rips through the powder store. Gregory draws his cutlass striking several cultists as he moves across the 2nd floor of the fort.

[Meliva]

Jack, the fighting's happening on the second floor, so it would be upstairs.

Carl has grabbed quite a few papers, the rest being in flames, so he goes back to killing any cultists who come before him. Their numbers are thinning out, and their leader is still in the room far in the back.

[Jack Teach]

Jack could have started the assault into the lab which is technically downstairs.

Only problem with that is, Nelly' lab doesn't have cult members in it-just her own defenses and experiments-many of which would be cleared by now by Emily and her golem. There will still be stuff to do down there once the 2nd floor is cleared though. Got some real good ideas already for it.

Gregory nears the back room where the cult leader is held up. He looks over to Carl.

Ready?

[Meliva]

With the last cult guards dead he goes over to the door with Greg, Oggie close behind. Carl waves Jack and Aeon over.

On the count of 3, ill bust open the door, then we can apprehend him.

Carl steps back, counts silently, to 3, and before he kicks it, the door opens by itself. The cult leader in his cloak is in the back of the room, clutching some papers and documents. There seems to be a large rune in the middle of the room with a few charred bones and flesh on it, when the leader see's they've made it, he holds up his hand.

I surrender, but before you apprehend me, I have some very vital knowledge you may want to hear. Once I've told you what I know, ill disable the rune and you may capture me. Or, you could risk it, and cross the rune now to catch me. Though if those bones on it could speak, they would advise against it.

Carl hesitates to try to cross the rune, and just says to the others quietly.

I sure as hell ain't gonna go for it. I'm crazy and stupid sure, but not suicidal. If he lies about surrendering after he's done speaking we can shoot him, but I wanna hear what he has to say.

Aeron nocks an arrow and prepares to fire

Jack grabs a heavy caliber musket, cocks it, and points it at the cult leader.

Try anything funny, and my rifle will speak before you can utter a single word.
