Another obscure movie quote......

"We do. let me tell you something: you don't let anyone come between us. Nothing tears us apart. In Greek mythology, the Titans were greater even than the gods. They ruled their universe with absolute power."

"Let's rule it like titans."

Don't know what movie that was, or who said that, but they clearly didn't know much about greek mythology. Since at the end of the day, the titans lost to the gods- and if they were greater then them then that's even more embarrassing. Would be like a tiger getting beat in a fight by a cat. So much for superiority :D. And hell even when the titans WERE the rulers they were FAR from the strongest beings at the time or had absolute power. Primordials were stronger then them honestly.

Do not bring up nonsense in the forums. Bring it to us and only to us. Excess vote by obvious multi account has been removed.
We will try to see who made this. The penalty for this is permanent ban.

As for voting integrity, we know who votes what. So at the end of the procedure we will check the votes and remove any dummy ones. I cannot institute penalties for dummy votes because we want to avoid provocation. Now if you want to risk permanent ban for a vote that will not count, be my guest. I want to believe that so far there have been no such practices except that 1 instance that has already been taken care of.

I can't miss the instance but really, how low one can be to resort to such a tactic? Grow some balls, really. Creating a second account to cheat on this? I mean, whoever did it, grow up.

Do not quote me back on this. End of the story.

Most of the team members are well known by anyone who has read player guides, the forums or paid attention as they've played PG. I know I've attacked or been attacked on the plunder board by many of them, been lit up with voodoo by a couple of them, gotten help, advice or expensive lessons
:respect from quite a few of them. But I suspect most of you don't know us rookies very well (I was unfamiliar with a couple of them). So here's what I found by checking biographies and achievements, in the order that we joined the game (only the highest title attained is listed here):

Anne_Bonny #75947
1856 Joined; Fame 659,316; Influence 41,982; 1999 Colonel rank (143 days)

Jack Roberts #76156
1866 Joined; Fame 185,777; Influence 189,078; 1935 Admiral (69 days); 2000 admiral again (134 days)
Achievements: 1938 Built Hideout (72 days); 2010 1,000 battles (144 days)

Bomont #76367
1878 Joined; Fame 1,115,504; Influence 709,411; 1974 Duke (96 days)
Achievements: 1960 Built hideout (82 days); 1989 1,000 battles (111 days)

El Draque #76,506
1887 Joined; Fame 9,209,663; Influence 8,436,074; 1969 Duke (82 days)
Achievements: 1912 Built Hideout (25 days); 2008 Fame milestone 9,918,218 (121 days)

Witte de With #77178
1948 Joined; Fame 482,837; Influence 142,150; 2015 Baron (67 days)

That information may or may not mean much to you, depending on your viewpoint. There are also many other stats that aren't available through the biographies, such as number of ships plundered, number of ships or fleets owned, etc. Certainly different play styles will produce different results.

Congratulations to all of my fellow rookies for being drafted.

Well, I guess I sparked some discussion at least. :)

I was just curious so I looked at the stats available. Then I thought maybe others would be curious too, so I posted them.

I wouldn't let these stats over-ride personal knowledge of the players, but many of us don't have any personal knowledge of all of them, so the stats might give a little insight into their current play-style (which may be only their initial play-style, and might be heavily influenced by their friends/mentors).

Several haven't built hideouts yet. IMO that's a good decision if you aren't working through the titles and approaching getting your MoW. Only a couple of us have reached 1,000 battles. For me, that started because I didn't want to buy all of those captains and then I kept going to get the tutorial reward for 500 ships, then sold off the excess (since I couldn't afford the captains for all of those ships). The most surprising stat to me was how much influence El Draque has accumulated.

Anyway, not knowing several of the players, this was the easiest information to get in order to get an idea (however flawed) of who they are.

SInce you mentioned Titans from greek mythology it seems that you convenietly forgot that gods Zeus,Poseidon,Hades were born from titans

You did great and you understood what I wanna say stats are great insight for players whom just start and doesn't have insight at whom is who and what they did. I guess they are affraid to admit it becauase with admitting this they would admit that they are outranked by Dezs Titans
