The man grunts, thinks for a few moments and speaks a bit.

The men in power need to pay. While the lower class works and slaves away the noble's reap most the profit. And you bloody pirates are no better-you attack whoever you want, whenever you want, never thinking of who you might be hurting. So why not burn everything down, and start over. These rats will be a good way to start with that. I won't tell you a damn thing more then that.

Oggie looks to Greg and Aeron.

Either of you 2 want to step in? Or you want me to keep it going.

Jack sighs.

No. I want you to hang him up by his wrists, get me cat o nine, and I'll beat it out of him. Or you can

Jack whispers

I'd rather not do anything rash or needlessly cruel.

Oggie whispers back that he has a great idea. He goes up to the man, and very slowly takes out several nails and a hammer. He then says very coldly to the man as he positions them upon his lap.

Spill the beans, or your not going to be having children in this lifetime. And if you don't spill it, your friends will get the same treatment.

The man's eyes go wide with terror as he quickly shouts that he will talk.

I don't know where the HQ is, but we have meetings at the old warehouses every monday, just get that away from me.

Oggie nods and steps back as he puts away the tools. He walks away and whispers to Jack.

Truth be told I wouldn't have gone through with it, but I knew either him or his mates would break due to it.

Oggie then says to the others

So, what should we do with these men. Could turn them into the guards, but that might alert the other cult members. I suggest we either kill them, or leave them down here until the cult's gone, then turn them in. What do you all think.

Hold it!

Jack looks forward

I think we should know how this cult thinks, their beliefs, practices.

Oggie grumbles.

Mate, we ain't looking to write a book or study these loons, we be looking to destroy them. Their thoughts, beliefs and practices don't matter, just finding and killing them does. Besides that bloke already said they think that society should be destroyed and rebuilt due to the nobles profiting off the common man. Admittedly I admit I hate nobles that do that, but it sure as hell ain't worth wrecking everything and rebuilding. But if you want to stay and keep talking to these men, we can do so. That meeting won't be due until tomorrow.

So they want to destroy society, and they hate pirates, so? How do they qualify as a cult, I also heard something about a plague, what's up with that?

Oggie just grabs his head and takes a deep breath.

I suppose you did just get here, so you are probably pretty clueless no offense.

Oggie goes over and shows Jack a large barrel filled with dead rats.

This be all the rats I had to kill in my tavern in the last week. You see, this cult is trying to spread the plague by breeding plagued rats, then releasing them into as many places as possible-preferably places that serve a lot of people-like taverns, inns and restaurants. They also have tried sneaking ships filled with rats into other ports-but the blockade blasts anyone who tries to do so. As for how they classify as a cult, well let me ask you-what do you call a large group of nutjobs, who often wear cloaks, conceal their identities and aim to do something incredibly crazy or stupid? I call that a cult. Now do these folks worship the rats? Do they believe their is a great rat god, or the plague is sent by god himself? I don't know. I don't care. I just know that these idiots can't succeed or we all will suffer immensely. So whatever they think, they can stow it, I just aim to kill them.

Jack nods

Agreed, I've seen enough. What'd you think we should do with these prisoners?

Oggie just stares deadpan at Jack until he finally speaks.

Mate, I literally brought that up a while ago, before you started talking about finding out their beliefs. I'll go ahead and repeat myself then. We could either kill them, turn them into the local guard, or keep them down here for now. I vote for either option A or C. If we hand them to the guards that might alert the other cult members.

I bloody know that! I said what do YOU think, your personal opinion, your bloody thoughts on it forgive me sir I'm a rather forgetful person. I vote we keep them down here, or hang them. I actually don't really care actually.
