Complaints Against VUDU Memebers

Anything related to in-game diplomacy (and beyond) can be brought here.
Guild news and announcements, war declarations, recruitment, military service offerings, etc.

Flaming is expected here. If you are easily offended, avoid this thread all together.

If all traders thought like wolves there would be no sheep for the wolves to feed on. Your logic is flawed.

I said think like one, not necessarily act like one. You can do a lot of things to protect yourself because you know what the wolf thinks. I could name half a dozen traders I won't touch with a long pole because I know better.

I get that people get upset when their plans derail and their daily income is affected, but it is the nature of the game. Just as Shadowood said, if you don't like it hit back. Usually after you show them you will stand your ground, they tend to target you less, who wants to risk getting stuck in a weeks long battle every time they pop you for round of hitting with HN's.

When I was running 400+ merch ships I was paranoid and didn't make it easy to be hit. If someone wanted to raid me they needed an investment into the game. Why get throw a tissy fit because members of your guild are running large volumes with no blockers? If they want to be a large trader, they assume the risks.

Now battles due to over conflicts like influence, population and ports, that is a completely different story.

That number will only increase with the frequency and methods of current attacks.. back to no sheep to feed on.

Back to not over fishing, and learning to keep the merchants providing your revenue stream fat and complacent.

@Ronnie, this is not about normal raids and hits, i was a pirate i know these all to well and totally agree it is part of the game. What is going on, now that is an entirely different story just as your so called ports are.

This is about normal raids, I think I have lit up maybe 2 SSAA members in the last month. I havent overfished anyone in SSAA. The only person I would accept complaints from right now is Lodswe, I admittedly hit him a bit excessive.

Also they clearly are still fat and complacent or they wouldn't be floating around with 20 million in purse and no mindbar.

When one player have 500 events from 3 players in the span of 8 hours, that is the definition of too much.

Minoan only had that many events because he is that huge. I'm not going to light someone up and not use all my turns, that is just silly

Then be decent enough to cancel the voodoo when done. It costs you 4 clicks!

If you don’t want to listen to me fine. If you don’t want to listen to Vane either then you are shooting yourself in the foot. He was one of the greatest pirates of the game and stuck his neck for you a lot when you were starting. When your original mentor is telling you are doing something wrong then you probably are doing something wrong

Oh believe me, I take Vane very seriously. He is my mentor for sure and is Shadow. I don't think I over fished here, should I have canceled the voodoo after the first round? Probably.

I think it's a big unjust to say I hit SSAA excessively though. You want to hear about excessive send a mail to any remaining SSTG member and ask them about excessive. It was merely SSAA's turn for a little action.
