Aye both sides are fun and have their place. But piracy is one easily over done. I "never" had the issue some of the so called pirates today face. Nor has shadowood or other greats.

Knowing the line to walk is where success comes in and by doing so not pushing the prey to their breaking point.

If all traders thought like wolves there would be no sheep for the wolves to feed on. Your logic is flawed.

To be honest, GOOD WORK VUDU. To this day there are more and more people who are living off of being Traders and limited pirates. The game is so intertwined with guilds that being able to find consistent targets without it evolving into a war is a thing of the past. I get that people get upset when their plans derail and their daily income is affected, but it is the nature of the game. Just as Shadowood said, if you don't like it hit back. Usually after you show them you will stand your ground, they tend to target you less, who wants to risk getting stuck in a weeks long battle every time they pop you for round of hitting with HN's.

When I was running 400+ merch ships I was paranoid and didn't make it easy to be hit. If someone wanted to raid me they needed an investment into the game. Why get throw a tissy fit because members of your guild are running large volumes with no blockers? If they want to be a large trader, they assume the risks.

Now battles due to other conflicts like influence, population and ports, that is a completely different story.
