Jack salutes

Glad to serve with you, admiral. Would you like a requiem sung for you?

Jack and his men begin to walk up the tower, ready to fight.

no worries its nearing the end, and I will be a bit busy for quite some time. Spring cleaning right now, so will be a day maybe day and a half before I can continue on. So take time to think of any ideas or responses while I deal with that. I havn't done any tidying up in ages, so I'm gonna be pretty busy with that and some other RL things

The admiral shakes his head and just points to the tower.

All I want is to capture this madman and save that woman. So lets get to it.

He orders the troops to charge and fight with everything they have. The troops around the tower surge against them, while a few stay inside the tower and quickly begin to block the entrance. Near the top of the tower lights can be seen and various sounds are heard.

Jack and his men fight with such violence, that both their comrades and their enemies are terrified, as the pirates hack their way through. They then run up the towers stairs, laughing, some even sing a little, including jack.

The men in the tower blocked the entrance jack, it would be impossible to get in that easy.

You literally said they were laughing and singing. To me that makes it seem like they had a pretty easy time getting past everything. And the fact they got past everything so fast also makes it seem like it was easy regardless. A group of men can't slaughter another group of men that fast and get past a blocked entrance the way your post said they did.

They were laughing and singing because they got through, fighting like madmen, butchering their enemies. I never meant that they got through quickly or easily, I just wanted to describe it a certain way.
