Role play. A Challenge in Caspian

One of Jacks men steps forward.

Uh hate to say this but I was with Cap'n Jack when we came here before. The cave descends down into a large cavern with a roof. There is no opening in the cave from above. Whole place is lit up by glowin plants. There also be a river in there with a bridge between the cave entrance to the tower. That's pretty much all the major details of it.

Alexander nods and thanks him. He thinks for a bit on what to do. He notices a raven as it flys towards them and hands him a note. He quickly reads it and turns to the others.

The witch inside the tower says while shes been living here shes made a secret exit route from the cavern. Its small and cramped and very long and windy, meant for just a few people at most. It leads out into a large bunch of bushes on the other side of the hill. She says it leads into a large side cavern away from the tower. You can begin amassing forces there and hit them from the side. My and the forces here will enter from the front. Once we break through we will head to the tower, and once sounds are heard you and your forces can attack. As for what to do with Gale, id prefer if we took him, but since I don't think we would have succeeded without you, ill concede him to you on the grounds I'm informed of what you do with him and informed of whatever info you get from him.

Pellew and half the marine force head around to the otherside of the hill and begin searching the bushes

Admiral Alexander rallies his men. He looks to the cave with his spyglass and see's there are quite a few stationed there. He spots some cannons though he cannot tell the ammo. Probably grape or canister if he had to wager. He orders his men to fetch some cannosn off the ship, and prepare grape shot. He rallies the other men, and says after the grape shot fires to rush the enemy. He urges all men to pray to their god or gods if they have them. After a while the cannons are prepared. He holds his saber, and quickly slashes it and shouts fire. He then leads the charge into the cave-the grape shot thankfully killing several of their gunners. Some of their men manage to fire grape shot back and he gets hit in his leg. He powers through and meets a pirate in melee.

Jack and his men charge into the caves, firing muskets, slashing swords and cutting their enemies to ribbons. Jack rushes forward, killing a man with every sword stroke, bodies fall around him.

Raven and his men follows, several are killed in the charge, but the rest charge into the cave, killing any enemy they see, though they are taking heavy losses

After about 15 minutes of fighting the last of the pirates are slain. Admiral Alexander is limping, the shot really messed up his leg. He shouts to everyone.

Forward men. There's no telling what may happen if we fail this mission.

The Admiral quickly begins moving down into the cavern and has his men bring as many cannons as possible, as he nears the river he curses. The bridge is gone-smashed to pieces. And a large line of men are on the other side, cannons and men aiming guns. He notices several large mounds of stones and iron. He figures those must have been golems. Off in the distance he see's a large group of men are swarming around the tower. Constantly sending more and more men into it, trying to achieve something, those more and more bodies are tossed out. It seems the inner defenses are working for now. But who knows how long they will last. He isn't sure where Gale is, probably in the swarm around the tower. He turns to his men.

Men, this will be a very risky and hard fight. Here is the plan-We will launch a massive assault on the far side of the river-firing all our cannons and shots. I recommend no men attempt to swim across-it will be a suicidal. Meanwhile a small group of well trained fighters will cross on the other side when it seems most of their forces come to focus on our assault. I wish i could be a part of that group. But my leg wound prevents me, So i will focus the fire. Good luck to any of you men who cross the river.

He begins marshalling his forces to the far side. He notices some of the enemy match his movement. And as more of his forces move to one side more of theirs does as well. He begins firing and blasting at them. It seems luck is not on his side today-another shot tears into his arm. He curses loudly.

Jack and his men continue to fight, cutting down enemies. Jack and some of his manage to cross and fight some of the enemies, firing and cutting as best they can. Jack uses his cutlass to deadly effect, killing one man with every swing and thrust.

[Meliva]

The enemy on the other side is soon overwhelmed. Leaving only the army surrounding the tower. Several explosions and flashes of light are seen coming from the tower. Screams are heard, but soon it stops. Men begin exiting the tower, many wounded, and missing body parts. One shouts.

Come and get us. Gale is already nearly at the top and the last of her defenses are GONE. Once he kills that wretched witch we will have won.

The admiral and his men cross the river. During the fight he was hit across his eye, and twice more in his bad leg. The old admiral doesn't look like he will last much longer. He says to Jack in a weak and tired voice.

One last army standing against us. We need to hurry. The other forces should be here soon.

His second In command urges him to stay back, get patched up and rest. He won't last another fight. The admiral spits out some blood and replies.

Lad, I'm already dead. I have lost a lot of blood, these wounds are no doubt infected by now, and even if by some miracle I did live through this, I will easily lose my right leg, my left arm, and my eye-and id rather be at peace then crippled for my last days. I been an admiral for about 30 years now. My children are grown, my wife well off, me dying fighting those forces will be a good death-dying lying down while others fight would be a sad one. Now lets go. ONWARD.

The old admiral begins marching forward his men following, as they prepare for battle.
