Jack nods.

Aye, he's looking for some artifacts, a sword and a pole-axe, both very dangerous items of, well, quite holy power. He won't find them though...

Jack's hand absently rests on the hilt of his sword.

Well if the stories I have heard of Valorim are true, "Gale" will be spending some time there searching. It wont be a day trip to traverse those mountains and jungles, especially looking for something inparticular. I can not promise anything, but based on my Admirals response which i've not seen before, he's interested. I must return to my station as ordered, but "if" the French are to arrive in support, it will be 4 days from now on the southwestern coastline of Valorim.

Before I depart, what is the expected strength of Gale's forces?

Jack shrugs.

Could be most likely anything from 30 or more large ships, but we really have no idea. It's likely that's it's a very strong force.

A very large force indeed. That's even a small Armada by national standards.

John stands from his seat and fixes his bicorne atop his head.

It's been a pleasure gentlemen. I will be setting sailing immediately. Remember, 4 days from now look to the southwestern horizon from Valorim.

John pauses...

To be safe, have yourselves a back up plan.

John looks up and around the tavern, before muttering to himself as he heads for the harbor..

Where the devil is that damned quartermaster, I thought I told him to return here after checking in on the Pelican?

The admiral nods as he stands up.

Well then, ill be heading to the island now with my fleet. We should be there within a day. Maybe a day and a half if the weather doesn't favor us.

He leaves the tavern as he heads to the nearby fort to round up all the men and armaments he can, though he quickly remembers something and he turns and shouts to Jack and John as he tosses them both a very strange looking pouch.

If you both want you can restock in this port. In that pouch is a stone with a special marking on it. It has no power or anything, but if you show it to merchants in this port you can get the Admiral discount. So everything you buy will be a great deal cheaper. After you finish restocking you can keep it if you want.

Raven sees everyone preparing their ships, so he boards a small vessel with his men and sail toward his flagship

Admiral Alexander gives the order and his fleet to sail to Valorim. He notices the weather is against him, and he curses. It will take 3 days if the weather doesn't turn. Though he think that in a way it may be beneficial-it means the French will arrive nearly at the same time-if they come at all that is.

Jack's small armada sails out, he is currently sailing his entire armada as he had just engaged in large-scale piracy a couple months ago, his fleet consists of 40 ships, most of which are flag galleons, frigates, and a couple large frigates. His flagship St. Dismas, is a 112 gun warship, built of white and live oak, making her exceptionally strong. The ships fly a white flag, with the words "For God and liberty" written on them in red, they too encounter some bad weather.

yes I'm aware of the unrealistic numbers, but for avonmora, this isn't a lot of ships.
