Admiral Alexander shakes his head.

Probably not. If his superior ordered him to report back once info was gathered that's probably what he will do. Deviating from orders is normally not a smart thing to do for anyone in a military branch. Best case scenario he succeeds in something and they let him off with a warning, worst case he might get charged with treason.

[Jack Teach]

Jack frowns

I meant: is the French navy going to help, I'm well aware of what happens to officers who disobey orders.

[Meliva]

The Admiral just looks at Jack.

You realize that this man probably won't be able to answer that don't you? That's a question to ask his superior's. If he goes and says yes the French navy will help, then his admiral tells him no he wont send his forces to help that would both make him a liar, and screw us over as we would expect help to come when it isn't. And even if we can expect his admiral to tell him yes, how long would it take for him to reach his admiral, and then come back with their forces? By that time Gale might have reached his destination, did whatever he intends to do and be well on his way to a new area. Our best course of action is ask our young friend here to convey the information he has to his superior, and request that his superior send his forces to Valorim to help us, while we go straight to Valorim to attack. If we are lucky we will win the battle without their help, or if nothing else we can keep Gale from escaping and we can hope the french come to aid us. Worst case scenraio is Gale escapes and we need to track him down again, but if the french want gale dead too, then we can work together for future raids.

Jack curses.

I gues I should have said: Do you think the French Navy will help.

[Meliva]

Admiral nods.

Aye, now that's a good question to ask. I think they will, they seem interested in Gale if nothing else. But id like to see what our friend thinks.

Gregory looks at John.

My apologies. I made the assumption that my information would have you sailing after Gale immediately. Since that is not the case, I only ask for a drink in return. I will find other means of transportation.

[Meliva]

The admiral looks to Gregory.

Well I'll be sailing after him immediately after this. Your welcome to hop aboard my ship. Don't know why you want to go to Valorim. Not much on it, no port or any settlements. Just this supposed tower.

[Jack Teach]

jack turns to the admiral.

Oh there's s tower there all right. It was as a helluva job getting there, although I'm sure those problems have been fixed.
