I think it was a marsupial hobo. Had a little stick with a cloth bag at the end, which i found odd as it had a perfectly fine pouch it could have used.

Simple Solution base the number of turns you can store off of the number of ships you can have. The more ships you have the more turns you get, you want players to be targets and also to be targeting other players, make them figure out which level they are comfortable with. If I knew the max turns I could store with 100 ships was 200 turns even with buying, I would do what ever it takes to get to 400 turns storage. This could also not affect new players as you could write it into the 1000 turn protection.

He's right, this also makes it harder for knew players to get invested, it's just not fair.

My view is tying in the amount of curses one can cast within 24 hours, to the number of cannon slots available for fleeted ships.

This allows those wanting to fleet fewer ships the ability to do so, but requires larger more valuable ships to be in place to take full advantage of casting, thus increasing the manageable risk for all. This stops any would be witch doctor from using a fleet of cutters only and causing devastating voodoo damage.

I am sure if you post only public data or events that show up at your log, no mod will have any right to remove them. Or at least provide some insight on the involved members and time this happened.

To me, there is no difference between a multi and a proxy. Sure, I can hook up some friends and call them when I need to act as witch doctors. Would this be fair? Certainly not. So, even if there is no multi, even if there is no Shared IP then still this action must be condemned and penalized.

I am not sure if admins ever considered this as an offense. Someone acting as a proxy. This is why I posted this up as it is clearly a grey area in the rules which must be considered like rules bordering.

I am on leave and overseas so just catching up on the forum.
This specific set of timing has happened to me more than once, though the attackers (from memory) were different, the common factor was xpro casting offensive voodoo and spending a lot of credits worth of cards to get through my standard defence to do it.
I would have to revisit logs to see if they go back far enough to name the attackers, but the timing and focused group of attackers was common to what you have stated above. I am sure admin can see further back than I in the logs to check.

Normal pirates in this game are running 50 ships, the numbers given were purely an example, someone who gets paid can fine tune it to be off of the 50 ships or what ever they find as average.

"Knew" minus the K players have a 1000 turn protection, this protection gives him ample time to get their feet wet and develop who they want to be. In that 1000 turns they should have decent fleets and be well on their way to where they need to be towards which ever number was selected.

Its not an viable solution either. I dont want 400 ships at this point and I hardly call giving someone a 5 to 1 ratio an equitable solution at any point.
It seems a surefire way to base a control mechanism on those who do not wish to have even 200 fleets and thus allow those who do a great advantage on those who are smaller or not seeking to blow up.
Not sure what the solution is but it wont be one that restricts those who are not witch doctors. :D

I have long suspected Dman and xPRO as being multi accounts because of the play style that is consistent between the two. It is complimentary and totally in sync, waging war when both need to be active and when times of peace arrive only one is active. Even if the case that one person is a multi player is not true, the proxy business is condemnable by the exact same standards.

I know speaking out like this will open me to being bountied or lit because of the immaturity of the party I am speaking of, but now others share my suspicions I thought I’d break my forum silence and speak about it.
PM me any complaints (10M gold coin wire fee is mandatory).

I doubt there is any one solution which would not also hinder legitimate gameplay and co-operation. We can agree that those who play in that manner are farkwitz not even worthy of our contempt.

I am in 100% agreement with your final conclusion, I'd still like to shoot the dog though if that's possible ;)
